I can say as a 100 % Harry Potter fan that Twilight is a good story, sure the main Girl is a bit obsessive, and wants to be a vampire, and has a Vampire and werewolf fighting for her.
sorry but I can't be for a guy who leave the one person who he says he loves. so I'm with Jake. but tell me this. Where is the love for Alice?

Jacob is just....ugh! I hate him! Team Edward.
why hate? just because he trys to hard doesn't mean much. So why are you for Edward?
I think I hate Jacob because he uses [I think] derogatory names for the vampires. Plus, he's a butt.
And Edward left with Bella's best interests in mind. He didn't want her to be hurt again. (<-- What happened with James/Victoria, and then in New Moon with Jasper.) Edward is just awesome. Team Edward.
If I pulled that for your own good stuff on some one I doubt they'll be so gratefull when i get back.
I stand by my vote Alice has some of the best dialog in the book. I keep waiting for the fight between thoes two but it never comes.
I would probably be pretty pissed if someone left me "for my own good," I just don't like Jacob at all. =]

I do look forward to new moon next year as all it took was watching the trailer for my wife to like it so I bout her all the books and she is already at the end of the 3rd after only 8 days

For sure. =] As for the New Moon movie, I hope they show what Edward's doing, because Rob Pattinson is fiiiiiine. Team Edward.
they added into the script like 8 pages of the Cullens, So we will see more of them in the film.
I am sure that most of the stuff will be cut like some of the cullens back story, and stuff like that.
I hate Twilight
 I'm sorry, but I read most of the first book, part of the second and the movie and I don't see what is so good about it. I think it just a "trend" that will die once the next movie comes out. [read]
it is not a book for every one it is a romance novel for the OC/ Gossip Girl Generation.

ever notice how in this book the characters realy only care about them self and what they want?
this is borderline selfish and obsessive at times.

I'm really not into fantasy. I am really into biography's, historical fiction, and horror. [read]
well they are all a bit selfish. Jake, Roselie, but mostly Bella,they all basically don't care what happens to anyone or how anyone else feels as long as they get what they want in the end. The thing that gets me is thats what happens, every one gets what they want with no real hard hitting loss.
True one could argue that dieing and becoming a vampire is a loss but she wanted it since the first book.

I won't lie, I love Twilight. I've read the books too many times, spend countless dollars on merchandise, seen the movie twice, and on an average day I end up talking about it oh....many countless times. Oh, and a girl at EPCOT today got all excited when she saw my Alice choker today. She got so excited. It made me laugh.
