Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

OK so I spent about 2 hours of my weekend, damn weather, working on a SFGAmWorld banner similar to the Cedar Point web page banner.
http://www.cedarpoint.com A few things...
-there is a about 200+ layers
-133 frames
-I know the animation is a bit fast but I am tweaking it
-This is a compressed file, so some color and shapes are not very vivid
-Sky Trek Tower only goes up...it was a pain to get it moving in the first place
-This was made in photoshop and is just a concept, the final would be made with flash
-The trains are not detailed
--V2 doesn't hold
--Dejavu doesn't pause
--Eagle is just kind of blah
--and theres no Whizzer
So here it is...

Please tell me what you think.

Ha ha! I like it alot. I've always liked the Cedar Point website because of that banner.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.

I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Change is good from time to time. This is cool and more interesting to the eye.

It's pretty neat. I know how much work something like that takes, and you did a good job.

I was going to make eagle go all the way down the Barrel but I would have had to change the opacity. Also, I think I should make make Giant Drop go slower since the drop is pretty crappy.

You should make Deja Vu valley once and a while or at least make it have a miss-catch.

That would have to be done in Flash since that would make the .GIF sequence almost 5 mins long...and that would be a huge file. ...I am also considering having SkyWhirl pop up once and a while with a very shady tint almost like a ghost. If I can do it properly, Raging Bull would have 2 trains and Sky Trek Tower will be visibly spinning. ...so far in flash, I got the first drop of Superman and 2 laps on V2.

Cool concept, bad animation I think you should make the trains black, since well.. it's a silhouette (spelling?). But in flash, it should be amazing. Also, the .gif quality made it look bad.

Black was rarely noticeable. I also needed minimal frames so animation had to be fast. And I did Superman first with black trains but you couldn't really see it.

When will we have the countdown on the main page for opening day? I loved it last winter! BTW, HH page still says it is now open for the 2008 season...

Well, I was supposed to be doing my 10 page website (by hand using notepad and XHTML and CSS) but I did this instead. And BTW the Flash version is about 50% done....I may wait until next semester though until I learn how to make it interactive. I mean I could try but I dont want to mess it up.
