Did anyone catch the Zombie Jamboree from Halloween night? They made a few changes, added Darth Vader with 3 Stormtroopers, Obama and McCain in a limo with Palin and Biden walking, Dead Santa and more.

Does any1 know exactly when Fright Fest began at our park? Was it just at one park first or everywhere? How long does it typically take them to take everything down? Do they remove everything from the stores when the season is over? I wish I knew someone who works at the park during off-season months. How much stuff is put away, do they protect the rides in any way from weather, when they remove the trains from the coasters, etc.

I was told once ( I forget from who unfortunately) That most of the trains are taken apart down to the nut and bold and then put back together again. I don't know if that's true or not, but it would make sense to me. As for protecting the rides I don't know how much they could really do besides putting a tarp on them or something similar.
Remember, there's nothing but air beneath the chair.

I believe FF, for us at least, began in 1991.

I don't know if a tarp would really be put over something like Bull or Eagle but I was thinking more along the lines of a substance on some of the parts of the ride itself to make sure it doesn't rust or something.

I would have thought FF wasn't that old. I wonder how much the decor/attractions have improved since 1991.

^What? 2005 was one of the best FF years. I'd say 2006, it started going down.

^^Ok, i meant after 05 ;)

But yeah, 2005 was great year for Fright Fest. I just liked the amount of side shows from the scare actors and they were very entertaining.

2002 was by far the worst FF, they didnt even dress up most of the park and put banners up that said "No Scare Zones." There was a lot of new stuff in 2003 though.
