TimeWarner-era Ride Part in Necropolis...

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Anyone know what ride it was from? My only guesses are either it's from the old Delta Flyer (former Yukon Yahoo), or it's a nose part from a Rolling Thunder car.

Actually it's the old coaster car that used to be on top of the store that is now Heros...

My guess is you'll want to buy that one too. Ha ha. I noticed you paid a couple hundred for the seagull from the old Lakehurst sign. Man, I miss that place; I had dreams every now and then about its revival which'll never come to pass. And Gurnee Mills these days compared to the latee 1970s mall is just bleh.

The ferris wheel not far from the coaster car comes from one of the old parade floats. THe interesting thing about Necropolis is that dozens of props from long-gone rides "come out of their crypts".
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."
