Sound FX on the Flash Banner?

Is there anyway to turn off the music and thunder SoundFX when visiting the site?

No, currently the music is only on the forum index, while the thunder is on all pages at roughly 30 second intervals.

I mean, dont get me wrong I really like the banner and the FXs but if the window is open for a long time it keeps going and got annoying after a while.

I just blocked FLASH from the site...but I still think its great!

I find it a little annoying as well. The sound is cool and all, but if I'm listening to music on my computer or something else, the thunder gets to be a bit annoying.

Turn it off it's annoying, have it go off once not every 30 seconds.

I for one like the cool sound of thunder and the music that plays on the main forum page.

I vote to *keep* it the way it is!

It is staying the way it is for the rest of Fright Fest, which is only until the end of this weekend anyways.
