He's talkin' about Brutal Planet because I read the first page of this forum, and thought it ended. So, I asked what brutal Planet was like, then realized there was 3 more pages, deleted the post, and he answered my question before I deleted it.

I think that their Ninja is an Arrow Looper, just a different model.........Who knows, with the SF ride swap program beginning again as people have been saying, maybe some park will be getting it and re-constructing it again next season...
Ninja is a vekoma ride, not an arrow. I have never experienced an arrow coaster that is have as violent as that piece of worthless scrap metal( Ninja). Anyway I only mention this because for the last few years SFSTL seems to be letting the ninja go way downhill. The trains are all scratched up, the line que looks terrible, the lift chain is so rough that you remember to lean forward or else hit your head when the last car of the train jerks into place on the hill, Plus I have been able to walk right on it every time I've been down there. I have heard rumors of its removal and possible replacement with another looping coaster. Given the amount of empty space next to ninja ( it is themed to be a studio movie lot) This would make a good spot for the Shockwave to fit into. Just a thought on a possible location.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
Hmm, your right. When I was there I thought it was an Arrow Looper. It does look like a big peice of crap though. One of the reasons why I didn't ride the thing.
I wouldn't be surprized if I saw Shockwave on Ebay. I really hope the Great America puts the ride back up. If they did, were would they put it? Has any other park done that with a roller coaster? Shockwave would be breaking records in it's old age, FIRST ROLLER COASTER BEING DISASSEMBLED AND REASSEMBLED AT THE SAME PARK.........SHOCKWAVE.
Get me on that list ASAP! The clock is ticking fast now its the 22 allready! I doubt anythings going to happen. If its still on the property by the end of this week basically its up to Jim Wintrode (or the new guy)'s responsibility to do something with it and I bet you they are either giving it to another park or sending it to get crushed along with sky whirl and everything. I doubt there will be enough people to keep it. But put me on the list.
Boy is this tired. This is just going to become a rumor-mine(as if it hasn't already,) since everything that can be said has been said. We don't want to read about all the children who now chat with top level SFI execs. And the fact is, it was on EBay. Not many bidders. There was a bidding history of 10, and I won. Going price, $0.10. I gave it to Ford Motor Company, so they could use it in new trucks.
Shockwave is dead and gone, face guys its over it had a great run but now its gone. Common Sense would tell you that IF Shockwave where to be built somewhere else at Six Flags Great America they would have already done it. The rumors are just that rumors. Now lets let SW R.I.P

You can not forget we are talking Six Flags, we never know what they are doing. They always Shock us, henice VIPER
I am seriously ready to be shocked. Maybe they have something better up their sleves. Apparantly they know that most people in the Chicagoland area liked Shockwave, maybe they will give us a floorless with Shockwave's layout.
Shockwave will go somewhere. It would not be sitting in the parking lot if it was just going to be melted down . They will not build a floorless with shockwaves layout, I am personally willing to give anyone $1000.00 if they rebuild shockwave at sfgam, or if they build a floorless with Sw's layout>
Well, metal can only sit in long grass/snow/rain for so long without warping or rusting. I think that its going to go to the old melting pot. It's gotten a bad reputation over the years. Its going to be tough to erase that bad image.
Oh and Timmy, put me down for that 1000 dollar offer. A thousand G's for doing nothing can't hurt!
