^^ I think a Thomas Town in SWF's spot would look kind of odd, well unless they theme the Antique Cars.
Otherwise it would just look surrounded. As for the Go Karts in Vu's spot, they would look kind of out of place to me. I always thought of them as being in the front of the part as an attraction that you had to pay for, and not really a part of the park.
oh well, were all speculating
poor wolfie rip ( hopewe get a neww bm wingrider for next year!11!
I would hope not for another kiddy section, unless they took out the Cartoon Network one. I would be ok with the go karts in vu's spot if they were free.

Wiggle's World and Thomas Town would never be placed so close to each other. You usually don't get both anyway. We will never loose Camp Cartoon. I think something completely new will go in that area. Which, by the way, you barely notice is missing anything. I noticed it only when on Raging Bull and Demon.
You see, according to my "reputable" source, to give the illusion that Wiggle's World and Thomas Town won't be right near eachother, they are going to construct a huge wall on the midway between the 2 kiddie areas.
So basically the park won't be a circle anymore. If you head to Thomas Town and then want to visit Wiggle's World you have to turn around and walk around the whole park past Superman, TDK, Batman, V2, Iron Wolf and Eagle before you reach Wiggles.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
I can say without a single doubt in my mind we will not get another kiddie area so sson after Wiggles World opened what in 2007? There is a reason SWF was removed right alongside Deja Vu (RIP)
If we get Thomas Town, I will never go to the park again. We don't need anymore kiddie areas, I like Camp Cartoon and BBNP but Wiggles World is enough, if we get another kiddie area, six flags should be called six flags kiddie land if it's all going to be about kids. enough said. I personally would like what you guys have been saying about a Dive coaster, I had no idea what that was till I researched it...it looks really cool.
They could transform Camp cartoon into a Thomas town if you think about it. SFMM's Thomas Town transformed Goliath Jr. into Percy or something like that, which they can easily do here with spacelys.
just my thought.

According to screamscape, which always changes its stories, we might be getting a Splash Battle ride in 2009. Anyone know what the heck that is? Obviously it's either a water ride or a dive machine.
for those of you not getting it May K Buleve = make believe

its basically the same thing as dark rides like the reese's cup challenge at hershey or midway mania at DCA where you go around in a vehicle and shoot at targets and get scores, etc...... the difference is on a splash battle is that you go around outside in a boat and shoot at targets with a water blaster and when you hit a target something happens to you on the boat or to people in line....
Why is everyone making such a big fuss about Camp Cartoon Network being changed to Camp Cartoon? The name changed, big deal (This is referring to Screamscape)
if Six Flags wants to bring people into the park, they need a coaster badly.
I mean, they seen how many people came to ride DJV, now the visitors are disappearing now that it's gone. Come on Six Flags, Bring us something BIG!
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
1.) The commercial advertising the "NEW Dark Knight Coaster" which is bringing more people to the park and 2.) most of the GP doesnt even kno that Vu is gone until they get to the park..... well at least most of my friends didnt
Yeah, but once people get on Dark Knight, they usually don't have many nice things to say about it. I did, however, feel it wasn't that bad. Just needs a new exterior color and better effects. I would give DK a 7/10.

Haha, all of my friends didn't notice it was gone even after visiting the park. As we pulled out of the parking lot, one of them said "Wait, where was that big green coaster that was never open?"
As far as what could replace DV/SWF, I really wouldn't mind seeing one of those target battle things at our park. They always seem to be pretty popular with the GP. As far as a coaster, I would rather see a B&M Floorless any day over a dive machine. I've only ever been on Sheikra, and while I liked the ride, it just wasn't that WOW type feeling that I was expecting(just like Vu!) I'd take Kraken any day over Sheikra.
Splash Battle at IB happens to be a Splash Battle.
It's a ride where you ride in cars that go along a track that's in water, you have water guns and you shoot other cars and the midway along with various targets that can dump water on you, other boats and all sorts of other things (depending on what sort of system they get if it's Preston & Barbieri, not sure what Mack offers as they came out with their version this year which appeared at Dollywood. Would be a very nice albeit low capacity attraction.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
The reason they got rid of Vu, among others, was due to the fact that it had low capacity issues and did not reach 5,000 rides in the 6 years it was at SF. It was like 4,993 or something but I don't think a ride with few people on it would be appealing to Mark Shapiro. Let alone the general public. Bleh.
