If none of the coasters were removed.

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Just thought I would bring up the fact that if SFGAm found a way to keep all of the coasters that they dismantled + the ones they currently have + the new S:UF flyer, we would be tied for most coasters along with CP and SFMM. Here is the lineup.1. Whizzer2. Demon3. Viper4. Raging Bull5. Deja-Vu6. American Eagle7. Iron Wolf8. Spacely Sprocket Rockets9. Vertical Velocity10. Batman: The Ride11. Superman: Ultimate Flight12. Tidal Wave13. Shockwave14. Z-Force15. Rolling Thunder16. Miller kiddie coaster that was torn down in 1977 or 1978 (dont know the name). What a great lineup this would be if they all co-existed at the same time. :D
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Oh man you're right! I never thought of that... That's real interesting, if only they didn't tear them down...

The name of the kiddie Coaster was the Gulf Coaster.

Sounds pretty cool, too bad that it wouldn't work though because some of the present roller coasters reside where the past ones were. That would be awesome though if they were tied for the record. But then look at it this way, I'm sure if you counted CP and SFMM's dismantled coasters, then it still wouldn't be that close.

Oh boy, that would be sweet!!! We'd be one of the 'big' parks... Actually we are, we're just not up there with MM and CP...

I find this amazing... http://www.rcdb.com/locationdetail899.htm

In 1967 Riverview Park Chicago had seven rollercoasters. Excluding shoot the shoots.

To me it's all about quality, not quantity. You can have 100 coasters in a park, but maybe only 10 of them are really good. That's great that SFMM and CP have 16, but I can't judge them just because they have the most.

If we had all our past coaster, we would lose a lot of our flats. So, I'm fine with what we have except maybe Rolling Thunder being back which is not going to happen.

Most of those coasters were in Dis-Aray when the park closed anyway

Which would be a very good quality back then. They did not have the technology to keep their rides as in good quality as Great America.

in my opinion SFMM can have all the coasters they want, they will still only have as many as us because they only keep as many as us open.

And half the ones they keep open they don't run near to capacity.

Flashback- Can't run because the lifegaurds can't hear as well.

S:TE- Can't fun because the state shut it down until it get's refurbed (Which looks like it may never happen...) Even when it was open it was usually only one side which made for horrible capacity and was a big drain on power.

Riddler's Revenge- State suspended one train, has been running with only one train since.

Scream!- Same thing, except I think they fixed the one train and it now runs with two again. (Even though it can run with 3 I believe.)

That's all I can think of, if you have more add it on.

(I can't believe I'm still trying to get to this park this summer.)

So if Flashback is closed, because the lifegaurds cant hear as well. Are they just keeping it there or are they knocking it down.

What makes the state close down one of the trains on a coaster?

1. They just close Flashback down when HH is open for saftey reasons the state doesn't make them I don't think.

2. No, it is not going to be taken down anytime soon.

3. The state deems a train "unacceptable" if it has something wrong that could harm riders or make for a dangerous ride. These inspections aren't to hard to pass as you can try and tell me the last time a SfGaM coaster train has been shut down by the state. In fact, all of Collosus's trains failed inspections by the state last year prior to Fright Fest which is why they had Psyclone trains running backwards on Collosus last Fright Fest.

Another thing B:TR there is also down to a 1 train operation try and guess why .

If we had Z-Force/Flashback, then it would take SFMM count down. I have always wanted to ride it. It looks like lots of fun. They should give it back if they wount use it as much. We have room for it.

Actually, with Ragin' Cajun now, we'd have 17 coasters and be one up on SFMM and CP. :D

Wouldn't it be 18 because Eagle counts as two (one forwards and one backwards) they are two different experiences on two different tracks.
