You should try American Eagle as your first coaster. It was mine, and it marked the beginning of my obsession with coasters. :D

batman is good, but its a very intense ride. You are going to want to start small before you go on that. Try any of the wood coasters, or Whizzer, or Demon. Definitly ride Demon before you go on Batman though, you are going to get alot of G-forces pulling on you.

Youre question is should you go on Batman as your first coaster. Well, that depends, what are looking for? If youre looking for a fast, intense, and crazy ride then i'd say YES go on batman. However, if youre just looking for a good first coaster to get yourself in the feel of things, then you should consider what theyre all about.

WHIZZER- A good family coaster. Not too fast but gives you a nice rush at times. A lot of turns and fairly smooth. The trees provide a few limb chopper sections.

VIPER- This is the more intense of the two wooden coasters. Viper is very fast throughout with a lot of G forces, mostly lateral b/c there arent a lot of bankings. A lot of head choppers and isn't very smooth, but hey, woodies arent supposed to be

DEMON- This coaster has many different things. ITs got inversions, four of them fyi, good speed throughout, and is fairly smooth. If you go with this one DO NOT RIDE IN CAR 2!!!! THIS GOES FOR EVERYONE IF YOUVE NEVER BEEN ON IT. Car 2 hops very widely on the lift hill and looks like its going to fall off, dont worry though, just ride CAR 1, its the best anyway.

RAGING BULL- This one (obvious fact) is the tallest, fastest, and longest coaster at SFGAM. If you want a coaster that is tall and fast, then go for it. However, RB isnt one of the coasters that should be done as a first if youre new to them. IT also has a lot of air-time which is something you probably shouldnt experience as a first timer.

AMERICAN EAGLE- This coaster is the big woodie. ITs very tall and is very fast througout. ITs not as intense as viper, but is a lot smoother and also has a lot of air time. THe nice thing about AE is that there are 2 block breaks that give you a little rest over the course of the ride. THis is a pretty good first time coaster.

IRON WOLF- B&Ms first stand up twister coaster. Yes, you are standing up and go through 2 inversions. FOr a steel coaster its pretty rough at times and has speed throughout. The ending is a double figure 8 and has many g forces and a quick air time hill that makes you feel like youre being ejected. As intense as it is, its also pretty short.

V2- This coaster has many different elements and probably shouldnt be a first. FIrst of all, youre below the track which is different. ALso its a launched start which wouldnt be good for a first time time thing. It also has vertical track. THis coaster should probably be one of the last ones your ride at gam.

BATMAN THE RIDE- This is the one you said you wanted to go on. ANother B&M first fyi. Again you are below the track and you go through 5 inversions including a heart line roll. Its very very fast throughout and has unbelievable G forces. ITs a blast, yes, but probably not a good first because of all the G forces.

RAGIN CAJUN- Not too fast of a ride but just a few things to it. One is that there are crazy lateral G forces which is whats supposed to happen. Second, the cars spin after the MCBR. It is a family coaster so it would be a good first, but it usually has an insanley long wait.

SUPERMAN ULTIMATE FLIGHT- Most definatley not a good first. You are suspended in the flying position throughout the ride. Its very fast and the pretzel has G forces like no other ride. Also during the helix and some other parts, there are limb chopper effects that make it feel as if youre going to hit the supports.

I'm not going to bother going over Spacleys Sprocket Rockets.... its meant for 5 year olds to ride.... And of course, vu is gone but i wouldnt have recommended it anyway.

Hope that helps!!!

Oh, and if i were to rate which ones are good first timers.... (1 being go on it first etc)
1- Whizzer (overall coaster feel)
2- American Eagle (height)
3- Demon (inversions)
4-? - all the rest for whatever. After those three youve got all the basic elements down
