Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Found this on Youtube. It appears to be a documentary on the evolution of steel coasters and how they progressed. This was done when Shockwave was in its first season. I take it they decided to use Shockwave because at the time it was a record breaker and advanced for its time.

I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Nice find Chitown. It has lots of POV and off-ride footage of Shockwave. Thanks for posting this. --Brian

Good video! I actually found this 2 days ago while watching one of Jonrev's videos. I like how it has some POV clips mix in.

One time when I was at an ACE Convention, They said that Shockwave once had a helix before the end of the ride. Is this True?

I remember riding Shockwave with my sister 13 times in a row on a rainy and cold September day...good memories.

Wow thats a cool video! I really miss Shockwave, It made our skyline look really cool in my opinion. Yeah it was rough but still fun. Superman is a good ride though. But when you look at the two, Superman I just see a rollercoaster, with Shockwave it was like a giant with all the inversions.
