Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

My band Stormy Monday is going to be playing at the park June 14 on mardi gras stage (where manny b is). We got this show by winning our battle of the bands and we finally got all the info on it.

We have 10 free tickets to give out (already done) and anyone else who's with us gets in for $30. I want to know if these tickets will be marked as "one day- general" or if it will be marked as "special ticket" (or something). I know that you can upgrade generals to season passes for like $40 and i was wondering if you could upgrade these discount tickets.

You can upgrade with any ticket. They will probaly say "COMP" on them.

But you can say "I lost my stub" or they may not even ask for it. And then you just do the normal procedures to get your pass.

Upgrade to season pass is $50 for this year 2008 from official SFGA website or $49.99 last Year.
$29.99 is the group ticket price for 20 or More.
It not on Ticket page yet for Sat. June 14 maybe sometime soon for $30 price.
It great see some Local groups to perform to a bigger audience.
Good Luck

another option to CYA, would be look around on the ground near the front of the park and in the bushes up front about an hour after the park opens, will will be plenty of full price admission stubs laying around. Or if you're the outgoing sort of person ask around in queue's to trade ticket stubs.

2009 price to upgrade is $55 per the Season Pass Hotline today 6/7/09. According to the agent I spoke with, that price is valid to upgrade any ticket--including free or discounted.

This is true, they changed it about a week or 2 ago. I believe parking pass is still $70, but if you're not planning to travel to other SF parks, it's really not that bad, pays itself off in 3 trips(as you get the $25 premium parking with a parking pass)
