Raging Bull painting has begun!

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^Well, some people who either ride Bull or don't ride it, when they walk into Southwest Terriotries it gives the stmosphere a new theme. That's why painting on coasters can be important. Raging Bull will look good with its new color rather than a faded color in my opinion.

I know this is off topic but i think that if i make this a new topic it will get locked

Why does this site say that Raging Bull opened as the worlds first hyper twister roller coaster when Apollo's Chariot opened almost 2 months earlier?

WEll that line is hyperbole cause Fujiyama is far more twisted than bull and opened far earlier. However Apollo's Chariot is an Out n Back and Bull if more of a twister.

New photo update... lift hill is done and it appears they only have the supports and a few track segments left to paint.

They were also testing a bunch of rides today!

It's neat to see some of the rides running again! It makes me anxious for the upcoming season. Bull's paint job will look great!

you can tell a big difference between the lift and other parts of the track.

^^ Not going to see too much testing now. At this point, all the rides should be ready to open except for those mentioned in the Ride Status thread. This past weekend was the last training weekend (which is why just about everything was running)

Small update from 4/16
http://z12.invisionfree.com/SFGAm_Zone/ ... try4294037

I can't tell from where I've been looking but are they painting the supports too? It doesn't really look like it from what I've seen.

^ They are painting the supports. Right now, they've only finished the supports for the turnaround before the block brake, but nearly all the supports have splotches of primer on them.

Ah, Raging Bull looks awesome. I haven't checked these forums in a while. I was looking at Jon's forums with the pics of rides testing, and definitely made me miss the park even more. I miss seeing rides testing and whatnot. Ahhh..... one more week!

I have Raging Bull wallpaper for you all. It's a very simple wallpaper with the logo on it. I wanted the focus to be on the ride. The sky gave me trouble but I think I got it balanced. Once the park opens I'll be taking more pics inside the park so I'll try to make more wallpapers(plain and creative).

Here is your choice of flavors:
1280x960 (Meant for 1280x800 but Photoshop wouldn't let me resize to that without squashing the pic).
1024x768
800x600
640x480 (Who has this small a screen anymore <.<)
