Raging Bull painting has begun!

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^I'm sure it looks incredible in person, however, to a colorblind person like myself, the pics are difficult to notice a difference.

Raging Bull, though not the oldest at the park, is a classic to me. It is the most fun you will have at the park and never gets tired. RB does deserve the first coat of new paint because it is the first thing you notice at the park. However, I sure hope Iron Wolf is next. Why would they paint it red anyway? It should have been white and silver from the get go. Just like its sign.

I forgot to mention in the pics you can easily notice a guy working on one of the supports. I say it looks like he is painting it.

The support to the right of him, that he is not working on, looks VERY shiny, so I assume it was painted. I definitely notice a difference from the other supports.

I'm always curious to why most people think that IRON wolf should be painted silver. Its not the SILVER wolf, and the coaster perfectly matches the color of iron ore right now.

I think people are just thinking of colors they personally think would look good on any coaster and disregarding the name itself(correct me if my thinking is irrational?). I mean maybe a little bit of silver would look good but as pointed out a color that resembles iron is basically needed or else it makes no sense at all.

It's definitely going to change the normal look around SWT to me. Haven't seen it in person yet, only 1 month to wait until I do! I hope it looks good, but I'm kind of accustomed to the "yellow orange/faded orange" look, so I'm unsure...

It reminds me of Dominator's new paint job. It's nearly the exact same color!

As it says in the first post that there was a worker by the trim break

maybe they are turning down the trim break... which would be great and would give could give the hill ejector instead of floater air!

^That would be great! It would also produce a bit more positive G's in the turns leading up to the midcourse. We'll have to wait and see, I guess! :D

The worker was up there because they are painting the ride...

They are not going to turn down the trims, they are there for a reason.

Nice pics! I wasn't sure how I would like this paint job, but now that more of it is painted, I have to say wow! It looks absolutely spectacular with that vibrant orange and purple. I can't wait to see it in person!

I don't really care on how it looks. All I know is its the best and the fastest and the funnest ride at the park. While I am riding I don't pay attention to the color of the track because that is stupid.

^I partially agree with you on that, with the fact that the ride experience is one of the most important things. However, to truely absorb the excellence of the rides, you have to appreciate every aspect of it, including the paint job.
