Why?
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
i got my letter yesterday but i didnt get the job. My friend did but i got a job @ Brookfield Zoo doing Gift Shop so im all good. But if tha job @ brookfield zoo doesn't work out then i may apply for SFGAm again next year.
From being one of the class geeks in 8th grade to one of the most noticable ones in High School. Thats what you call "Steppin Yo Game Up!"
Man, things sure have changed. When I got my first job there in the 90's, I interviewed and found out during the interview. I remember them telling me, "We'd like to give you a job, but we need to know which unit you want to work in."
By the time I was done working there, I remember going to the central copying room and seeing stacks of rejection letters. Made me sad.
For me, i applied for entertainment. I went to auditions in february and was told i got the job right then and there. It was really cool!!! Dpt training this saturday!!!!

I think I might for weekends in April/May. Ill tell them I can work full time for summer then just put in my 2 weeks right before...that way I can work early in case they are looking for people who will stay all summer.
/\ Hours are not guarenteed in the spring, last year a lot of the ride ops that were hired to work in summer were not allowed to work in spring because of bad attendance. Id reccomend finding a job your interested staying with during the summer, because come that time its difficult to get those jobs.
Well the plan was the work down at the point this summer with a friend or two...but not more ride but for Merch and retail (working in shops). So if I could do that at SFGAm were I'm not that worried if I get fired there, then it would be practice for summer.
^ Why would you want to work at a park and not be in the Rides Department? If you want to do merchandise, wouldn't a Target or K-Mart be alot closer and easier
Its just the fact of working at a park that I would like because you cant get the same experience at a K-Mart (where are those?) or Target. Ive heard A LOT of crap from ex workers of the rides dept and it doesn't sound like something I would want to deal with.
