On a hot day you can assume it will also be crowded, so I would personally ride:

Whizzer because the Queue is all shaded, and that ride is way fun.
Anything air conditioned
The random nto as popular rides that I don't ride as much so I'm not sitting sweating in a long line.
Bull because the line moves fast enough
STT or the train: Both relaxing rides around the park

Somethings I wouldn't Ride:
V2, no shade at all, and that line moves slow.
Rajun Cajun: slow, hot queue.
Batman: Depends on where the line is and whether or not the air conditioning works in the tunnel.
Top 5 wood-5-Goliath 4-Ravine Flyer II 3-Phoenix 2-Voyage 1-El Toro
Top 5 Steel- 5-Velocicoaster 4- Maverick 3- Fury 325 2-Steel Vengeance 1-X2
Coaster Count: 444

Raging bull is only 9 years old
AE, Whizzer, and Demon are the classics

S:UF is unique?
ours is the third of the four clones
the unique coaster @ SFGAm would have to be RB

I think AE deserves better than "Decent"
its the best woodie i have ever been on

Also I dont think that Demon, Whizzer or viper are boring

the only boring ride would be Spaceley's
"Prepare for launch. Goodbye"

if it's hot you'll either find me watching the shows in the AC. or I'll be sleeping in the back seat of my car with the AC cranking :)

Other than the lines, I think any ride is good on a hot day, especially the coasters.

I agree with bigb7965. viper, demon, etc. are NOT boring. whizzer IS more of a :classic" than raging bull...its been there longer, etc. its also not boring. id also have to agree that american eagle, demon, and whizzer are the classics in the park. they have some history to em dont they? raging bull IS only 9 years old.

and for the viper, i love that ride. the first hill is cool, and the airtime is great, isnt it? and american eagle is more than a "decent" ride...are ya kidding me? its one of the best wooden coasters ive been on. its err..wicked fun.

And even spaceley's can be fun. There's no such thing as a boring ride! Imagine if you had a spaceley's in your backyard, would you think it was boring then?
I'd ride that thing all day.
I just don't because first off, the little kids look at me weird, and second, i <3 batman and bull too much to not hit them too.

Hot day? American eagle's line is shaded, and green, so the air is nice, the air in the "shade" of the whizzer is all little kid farts and old complaining parents.

Viper's good on a hot day if there is someone at the front queuing people up, otherwise it gets to be a little crazy at that station.

(and of course water rides, and those spray things they have now on the side of those signs)

yeeeeaah. Ok. But yet you would wait in line for Spaceley's, which is ten times worse than waiting for Whizzer as far as kid farts.

RC I won't go near if it's a hot day, because if its line. The same goes for V2.

I totally agree! I'm glad someone said that. I hate it when people say coasters are "boring" because I enjoy every coaster I ride. Great job putting it into perspective about the backyard thing...

I agree with Woodland on all he said, and I would also switch Superman and Viper. Viper is a fantastic airtime ride while Superman, yes it is unique, but (this has been said a million times, however, I will say it again) it is short and over-rated.
Eh.......I got nothing.

Viper's boring????????? C'mon, that baby is a classic!

I must agree that Superman is too short to wait an hour for, that's too bad. That's why the hype for the return of Shockwave. But I don't see it coming back ever cause that thing has been recycled. So RIP.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Seeing Shows! There is always room in the GMH. Waiting for water rides is nice, but always a pain in the butt on the really hot days.

No waterpark though. I'm not that crazy!

Well, i like water rides but not the soggy kind, so i'd say Ice Mountain Splash or Loggers Run would be the top of my list for a hot day. Followed by Sky Trek Tower for the AC (and soon Dark Knight!!!).

The worst would be Ragin Cajun and V2 because they lack shade in the line, as well as Batman because the line is stuffy. The worse however is Revolution, seriously, with that tight of a line with no shade, as well as a long time sitting there with the sun reflecting off the metal floor at all hours of the day, it's a nightmare!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter :(
