Difference between Yankee Clipper and Logger's Run

I never quite understood why there are 2 sides. I like that it helps with the lines moving faster but the layout and overall experience are virtually the same. These rides could also use a little updating. The colors are outdated and they look just as tired as Splashwater Falls. Yes, the boats are different and yes one has a better "fall" but I would rather have the park bring in a new, unique water ride for 2009 and a new steel coaster. I know when these rides go I won't miss them as much as Splash, Shockwave and Deja Vu.

There are 2 differences.
1.Logger's run has logs, yankee clipper is little boats
2. Logger's run's drop gose down flatens then down again, yankee clipper just gose down.

Actually, I have notcied a difference in how wet you get. It could be just me, but I find that you get much more wet on Loggers than on Clipper. I do agree though that those rides do need some updating. As for taking them out, I dont think that will happen because even with the water park the lines for both of the flumes can get up to an hour long which means people still like them. I can only imagine the lines will be longed with the loss of SWF.

They are both interlocking Intamin flumes without much differences. One is a mirror image of the other. That and the two brought up in the last post are pretty much it. I also believe Logger's gets you wetter.

I think that they are not going anywhere soon. In the summer the lines for those can get real long. Yes loggers run does get you wetter but I like clipper better.

I like Yankee clipper more because you can goof around more, like talking like popeye . But ya logger's run gets you alot wetter.

They are Arrow Flumes, and without getting into details, Loggers Run is a standard flume and Yankee Clipper is a Hydro Flume (the bump at the bottom of the drop)

Actually, I have notcied a difference in how wet you get. It could be just me, but I find that you get much more wet on Loggers than on Clipper.

Probobly beacause of clipper being so fast that you pretty much go straight through the water.

^ I actualy think it has to go with the boat design (pointed V. squared off) because i would think a point would divert water outwards and the squared off would make more water come into the boat. I could be completly off on this one though.

Its from the hill at the bottom of Clipper. Instead of the boat going all the way in the water, slowing it down faster, it skips over the water so there really is no wave that hits you.

the difference i noticed is how loggers has a huge splash, and Yankee kind of skips across the watter and you only get splashed
