Favorite thing about 2003

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Well the regular days at SFGAm for 2003 are numbered, in only a few weeks Fright Fest 2003 begins. My question is, what moments did you enjoy most about this season. What was your favorite moment at the park, What was your favorite ride, which rides impressed you this year. Those types of questions.Personally my favorite moment in the park would have had to be "Tornado Sunday". Me and my friends Mike and Jeorge stood outside Superman for about 3 or 4 hours while its pouring, lightning and Tornado Sirens are going off. But we waited it out and got on the first ride when it opened. Let me tell you when a friend moves to Flordia, then comes back to visit and you spend 3 or 4 hours out in the rain waiting for a ride to open, its a good way to catch up.My favorite ride this year would have to be Deja Vu again, that ride experience just can't be beat (well yes it can, X kills it but im talking SFGAm :) )And the ride that impressed me the most this year was Batman: The Ride, at 11 years old on Mother's Day when all the other coasters couldn't run due to weather conditions. This ride ran flawlessly all day long. If that doesn't say how great of a success this ride is, nothing will.Talk amongst yourselves.......

My favorite day at the park was last Sunday when everything was a minimal wait. The ride that impressed me the most this year was Iron Wolf, I only saw one breakdown on it(and I was on it at the time :D), and it is still a great ride no matter what anyone says. Favorite ride goes to Deja, even being not open for most of the season you have to still love it. I'd aslo like to say that I can't wait for FF which is always a blast even when it isn't the best year :cough:2002:cough: .

Hmm.. well, my favorite day at the park this year was probably opening day. But that will change after tomorrow, lol. The ride that impressed me the most would probably have to be Bamtan. I never saw it down once this year [except for rain & the one time it got stuck on the lift].. plus the staffing is great, it's always really fast. And that ride never lets me down. Favorite ride of the year would have to be Deja Vu.

I'm still disappointed I didn't get to make it this year. I however have been to SFWoA 20 times, managed a few rides on TTD, and become an op at SFWoA!! :)

My favorite day this year SO FAR( ) was in late June.. I think June 25th. Anyways, It was my first time on S:UF and i was really excited. The ride that most impressed me was Batman. It is very reliable and in my top 3 at the park. The ride that i was most disappointed with was Iron Head Banger um.. er... Iron Wolf i mean  . I think it's the next ride to go......

Well this year I sadly didn't make it out to great america as much as I usually do. Since I've worked all summer to pay for a whole orlando/disney/universal vacation (which was AWESOME!) I didn't have the time or money to get out as much. So the best day I can say I had at the park was opening sunday. I have gone on this day for the past three years, and it never fails. Nice weather, barely any crowds, and a nice way to get school off of your mind. I will be making one last trip during fright fest (I still have to find a way around school, work, theatre, and band), but I won't give up. I love fright fest so hopefully I can make my last trip this season the best.

this year for me had lots of good memories. my favorite day was probably opening day. i liked seeing how the park looked after a long winter. and i got on my 1st flying coaster! :) i'd enjoy seeing different people and doing weird things. one of the best memories was probably in august when my gf was being goofy and didnt see where she was going and she ran into a guy and spilled coke all over him. that was funny. hopefully frightfest will be great and i cant wait 4 it.

Labor day was good. Nice and empty. My all around fav. time at GAm this year was probably Physics Day. It was pretty crowded, but it was a great time (mainly b/c I was with 12 of my friends that never go to GAm). Doggy style on S:UF? LOL!

Best thing for me was the first time going through the pretzel loop. Even in the back car, I'm sure everyone on the train heard me yell "Oh *fecal matter*". I was expecting something strong from it, but what I got was not expected. Or my other favorite part of 2003 was my 3rd ride on Magnum. I was sure I'd have bruises on my legs after that ride.

My favorite time this year was in September, when it was raining in the moring when the park opened, and the park was empty the whole day. The longest wait was a half hour(for Deja Vu) We got on all the coasters. My ride would have to be American Eagle. I know it's old but I rode it about 10 times this season, and it never failed to show me a good time once. I really had fun this season. I's sad it's almost over. I am really looking forward to next season.
