I vote for another coaster. We have not had any since 2001 and we need to put Great America back on the map. We need something like Titan, Tatsu or Goliath. Demon is getting boring and has the shortest wait time. Take that out and put in a huge ride for 2009. Hurricane Harbor is open less than the rest of the park and really who needs more water slides? Superman was a disappointment layout-wise and Deja Vu only lasted 6 years. Vertical Velocity is the only success story the park has had in a long time. Lets face it...Shockwave should have never been taken down. All it needed was some work and it could still be huge today. Superman should have been put a little farther back in the park. SW was such a nice site to see upon going inside the park. So, yeah, give us a new ride for next year people!
1st, we have had a coaster since 2001, the last was Ragin' Cajun. (TDK is being built) 2nd, Demon isn't going anywhere. With Six Flags' push towards families, I can see Demon staying for a while. 3rd, Hurricane Harbor is a huge success, and people would love an addition. 4th, Deja Vu was only removed due to its unreliability.
However, I will agree with the fact that I still wish we had Shockwave.

Step 1: Relocate Camp Cartoon rides with the Exception of the Coaster to other areas of the park.
Step 2: Scrap Wilderness Theater (I don't think alot of people still know it exists)
Step 3: Give Gravity Group or GCI 8-10 Million dollars and let them build a great coaster in the Open Space with Tunnels and isn't a Clone of anything in the world (One Pet Peeve Of Viper) and very unpredictable and try to keep as many trees as possible for great night Rides.

Well, I am not here to begin speculation, but there is plenty of room to build a decent sized wooden coaster. However, that is not really necessary as the park has three great wooden coasters (counting Eagle as two), but a fourth wouldn't hurt. I will not say anymore of what I think will happen in 2009.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
The very true is... SFGAm has a lot of land, that propably you guys can't think off. Go to satellite view of the park and look at SFAGm's land boundries. Imagine if SFGAm was to build a underground and garage parkin... and how much land would that be for new rides and etc.
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!
