I don't know for sure, but I would say no. There is no reason to be working on Splash or Shuttle yet. Right now their top priorities should be building The Dark Knight Coaster and getting Deja Vu taken down.

Standing but not operating. I don't know where it's going but I've heard it's gonna go.

I'm neutral. I wouldn't mind if it stays, but it's not killing me that it's going.

This ride was groovy for the first time to ride. But I would not miss it when it gets removed. And I don't no when it might happen in 2009.

When I meant ''I'll miss it'', I meant not saying the ride it's self but rather just it being there. I mean I grew up always seeing it when I first walked into the park since I was a little kid. The ride its self is ok.

With the way things are going now, I think there's a 90% chance there'll be a hurricane harbor expansion there.

To tell the truth, I've never been to HH before in my life! I'll have to visit there this year since I got my first season pass!

There is a lot of cornfields around there especially in Boone county in Belvidere. But Cherry Valley and Rockford is more city then it is fields.

Ok back to subject, I would have a NEW film in there this season
Like the one FLY ME TO THE MOON installing at SFOT and maybe at another park. Only 2 or 3 employees works its and operates for 3 summer months.
That would give it a reason to stay open for 1 more season!

After that tear it down and expand HH in that Area!!!
Party all Night, Sleep all DAY!!!

Oh that would be so COOL. The park seems kind of small to me. But expanding it would be great. And maybe making a seperate entrance for it. There were a few times last year I went just for HH.

And if there was a seperate entrance, they could charge a seperate fee for just HH access.
Is 2009 the last page in Chapter 10?

The signs for Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America are gone. SSA will not be touched until late 2008 because they have to remove Deja and SWF first. Seems stupid to just stand there but whatever. A bet all we will see in place of Deja and SWF is either covered up construction or dirt/flowers.

My thoughts exactly! Space Shuttle America is one of the worst motion simulators i've been in!!!! The only time i found myself enjoying something in that building was back in the Dino Island days (which i can just see at Indiana Beach now)

Honestly Shuttle was one of the rides I rode on a consistant basic. I understand the reason for removing it, and I will continue to visit on a regular basis, but It does make me sad.

I'm definitely going to miss SWF, but it's not a big deal to me. Nothing like how much I'm going to miss Vu. Haha, oh well. And I think the guns on Roaring Rapids are amazing. Especially on a cold day. Whew... haha. They make the ride that much more fun. Honestly, without them I'd be too dry. It's a bit of a letdown when you come to that part of the ride and no one is there to spray you... or if you THINK there's no one there, then all of a sudden bam! I marathoned that ride once with friends... good times.

Anyways... Space Shuttle America has so far been the only motion simulator I've been on. I think... Actually, I've been on one other, the one at IB. I honestly enjoyed SSA, it was rather interesting. But I liked the one at IB much better, definitely more interesting. I'll miss SSA a bit.

SSA was good when it had Stargate SG 3000! Gotta get that gate key. But in all honesty, I won't miss that ride as I despised riding it last year when it had that awful show.

The one time I rode it as stargate I found it far to violent in it's movements to be fun. They could have saved $$ and just shown an episode of Cops on the screen, kept the same movements and just call it Police Brutality: the Experience, at least I would have been kept entertained :)

Though simulators as a whole never did a whole lot for me, though I guess for the most part SFGAm got at least ok films. Just wish we had a venue for Supertits, I mean Superstition.
