Parts of American Eagle get retracked every year. This year, it is the Blue side between the station and transfer. As for the trains, American Eagle is NOT, repeat NOT, getting new trains. One of the Red trains is getting rehabbed.
That was the worst part of the ride for me. I would always bounce back and forth and get bruises on my legs when they would hit the seat divider and lap bar. I hope the second helix's are next on the list.
How about increasing the banking of American Eagle to like 45 Degrees as it would put less stress on the ride with the forces through the center of the banking like Son Of Beast.
And why not get all new trains like Intamin or Dare I say it "Gerstlaurer"?
A Tunnel at the bottom of the first drop would be cool too.
I think it would be interesting if SFGam did the same with Eagle as SFMM did with X....give it a new life so it can live on. I understand that every year, more and more work is put into Eagle, but it'd be nice to see a complete overhall of the thing into something people would be thrilled to ride like it was brand new.

All they did with X was add new vehicles, new paint, new tunnels, and new "special effects", all of those would be perfectly capable of achieving with AE....it's just a matter of whether or not the ride is worth that sort of rehab or complimented by such a rehab.

^If you don't want your topic to be locked by a Mod or Admin, I suggest you stay on topic. As for AIM, look under people's signatures. It'll say if they do or not.
But to get back on topic, I think AE is fine the way it is, but it would be interesting to see what they would do to it if they did something similar to X2.
Speaking of Buzz Bars, Eagle actually opened with them on the trains. They were replaced a few years later with the current lap bars that we have today.
I also remember a period of time that the seat belts were not there (just the lap bars). Then, sometime in 2001 or 2002, the seat belts came back.
I don't know when exactly the seatbelts were removed, but it was before 1998 for sure. As for the return of the seatbelts, that was in 2004, the same year Viper got seatbelts.
