Dont worry, I TAKE NO POLISH THINGS PERSONALLY, so dont be scared saying funny things, because i laugh more than anyone else.

But onto subject, when do you think itll be up and testing?

While I'm glad that SFGAm has finally started posting construction photo's of TDK, I hope more are on the way.

At this rate, they will have the ride done before they post the pictures of the building going up! :)

Hopefully this is just the beginning of what is to come.

Jeeez - Finally! Well, by the looks of it, these are OLD photos - that have just been posted. There's no snow on the ground, and homeboy has a short-sleeve shirt on... I know damn well I wouldn't be caught outside today in a t-shirt! :)

Let's hope they keep this up, and provide us with FREQUENT updates.

I agreed with hope for frequent update. Wonder which park will finish first and opened first or they are planning to open all three at the same day? I'm not sure what's the plan on that.

Oh cool! I guess we will have to watch for any spoilers from SFGAdv first. :-) I like spoilers but I get same effect when I go to something that I know about it beforehand. :-)

These shots were taken from the residential area behind the Shockwave hill. From the looks of things, they've only done some ground clearing, so I'll come back to this area and take photos again in a couple of weeks:

Construction of SFNE Dark Knight HALTED... Let hope that SFGAm had their building permit unlike this one.

technically the city can order the building to be demolished immediately, this could get entertaining.

There's a small area next to the hill with a bunch of trees. There's enough of an opening between the tree branches to see the construction site from behind Great America's fence.

Wouldn't you think they would have all the proper permits in place BEFORE they started building? Jeeeez.

This isn't the first time that SF got busted for something like this. Can anyone say Vertical Velocity at Six Flags Marine World? :)

Let me refresh your memory for those that may not remember... (text beow from rcdb.com)

V2 was closed for the start of the 2002 season while it was modified to be 150 feet tell. There is a 150 foot height limitation imposed by the city (the V2 was about 186 feet tall). This explains the mystery why the press releases claimed 150 feet tall for the V2 while other Six Flags parks with identical roller coasters advertised about 186 feet tall. I guess someone from the city noticed it was a bit taller than advertised. So, the forward tower was changed from 90 degree vertical tower to 45 degree inclined tower. The rear tower is still vertical, but shortened to 150 feet.

I don't remember everything that took place, but I am guessing there were quite a number of meetings between the city and the park. Looks like something similar will be going on here.

Also, FParker is correct. If the city wanted to be jerks about it, they can come in and take the whole building down. Once the proper permits are obtained, then work can begin again.
