^ Funny, I was there 6 hours ago, and nothing is gone yet, and I have a picture to prove it:
http://www.sfgamworld.com/phpBB2/album_ ... er_id=2146

And exactly how would ANYONE know whether or not the station is gone?

The Loop and Cobra Roll will be the first to go. The station cannot be removed until the loop is removed.

I think the only reason the crane is there is for the train removal. I don't know if they take them off every season or what but thats my guess.

The Train can be removed without a large crane, there are 2 cranes on site (much smaller) that are capable of removing the trains.

^^ Sorry, no cranes are used to remove coaster trains (especially 100ft+ cranes  ) Most of the coasters have devices built in to the storage track to facilitate taking trains off and putting them on. In Deja Vu's case, since the station is so low to the ground, all that is needed is a forklift.

Is there anyone that lives close enough to see if they are putting stuff on trucks or anything yet?

Actually, something may be missing in that picture that was posted by DejaVu2001....

Looking at the location of the crane, it is about where Splash Water Falls should be.

If I recall, SWF's was in the 50-75 foot high range.

While they will probably use the same crane for Deja Vu's removal, maybe they are working on SWF first?

I plan on being in the area tomorrow, so if I get any pictures, I'll post them.

^ I actually forgot to look for SWF. That said, I highly doubt they would do SWF first because, unlike Silverwood with Deja Vu, I doubt the junkyard cares when they get SWF

SWF Is much farther back, also the demolition of SWF is being paid for by the park while the removal of Deja Vu should be paid by its new owners.

Drove by the park around 6:45 AM this morning. Here is what I noticed.

1) SWF is still standing, and as RagingBullFan indicated, it is farther back and more to the right in the picture posted by DejaVu2001. No signs of removal were noticed.

2) All track that is visiable from Washington Street on Deja Vu is still there. This includes the loop, and the cobra roll.

However, with the crane now in the area, it is just a matter of time until parts of Deja Vu start coming down. For all we know, they could have removed parts of the track in the station leading up to the cobra roll. I would think they would start at the place that the trains are added / removed, and work through the ride from there. Of course, I've not been in the park, so this is all just a guess.

I was near the park about an hour ago and I'm pretty sure I saw the top part of the loop gone. Could be wrong cause I only got a quick glance at it but I'll hopefully be confirming it tommarow. I do know for sure though that I saw a crane there today.

Vu 2001: Why didn't you move down more? You can get a much better angle if you had gone down the street a bit.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

I didn't need a better view, the crane was the only thing different, and you can see the crane fine  And I can confirm that as of 12:45 today, the very top track piece of the loop is removed.

I was by the park around 5:30 PM, and I can also confirm that the top of the loop is gone.

I took 3 pics from the business park on the west side of I-94, but they did not turn out. I'll be in the area tomorrow, and will get more pictures and post them here.

The top of the STT looks taller than usual. Maybe because it doesn't have the flag on it.

You can easily tell in one of the photos that the top of the loop is gone.
