Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Low attendance.....? SFGAm does a pretty good job getting the people in the park.. There might be a
sliver of a decrease, but I'd like to know how you imagine this...

You have to really think about perspective reguarding attendnace. 2005 was a banner year, it was a perfect summer to introduce hurricane Harbor, so saying that attendance has slipped really just means things are back to normal.
Captain, don't shake the passengers up too much this time! Just giving them their money's worth!

2005 was a pretty big year, especially with Fright Fest.

^I agree. 05 FF kicked ass. (But still, no FF has been as good since it was in the 90s, those were the best ::cough:: 94 ::cough::)

Shame I never got to go then. In fact, my first FF was 2006.

Nothing has changed, it is too cold right now to do any real work. Expect lots of work come Feb/March timeframe.

I live pretty much right next to the park. I'll see what pics I can get when Vu does start coming down.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

OK, that's another ride leaving.
It's one thing to have Shockwave gone, but now Deja Vu?
Both rides were fun, Vu was better.

^Vu was certainly NOT better than Schockwave. Shockwave was one of the better coasters at gam.

Demonboy's right. Shockwave was much better even with it's roughness.

Deja Vu was way more fun than Shockwave in my opinion. Even before SW became the rough beast it became, I never found it particularly thrilling. No air time unless you sat in the last car which you ended up paying for through head trauma. DV had great floating on those towers. Anyway, what Screamscape had reported has been confirmed.

^Yep, it has been confirmed and Silverwood is also having a naming contest for the coaster.

I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Considering the ride's history, I'd name it "The Little Engine That Could"
Nearing the second tower all the riders could chant "I think I'll catch! I think I'll catch!"
