As far as loose articles, this is what I was told by an op this year.
If we're wearing something, glasses for example, or a fanny pack or purse, they can suggest you leave it in the bins, but they can't legally ask you to take it off because you're "wearing it." Now as far as cameras and cell phones, they can make you put them in a pocket or leave them in the bins. And then theres the obvious no food or drink, stuffed animals, basketballs, etc...
Captain, don't shake the passengers up too much this time! Just giving them their money's worth!
Loose Article is any article that can be lost during the ride, be pulled away from you with as little force as it needs. All loose articles must be well secured, if a ride op thinks that it's not, then it is not. Nothing can be "worn" in between of you and a restrain (restrin: lap bar, seat, OTSR). Nothing can be in your hands, and your legs can not be a restrain to a loose article.
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!
I had to get out of line once when I was at Cedar Point. A line had formed because it was broken down. (what a surprise) We were in the front, talking to a man who had rode the ride over 1,500 times, and he was explaining how the ride worked, when my friend and I were told we had to get out of line to use the lockers. That was my first time riding, so I didn't realize that you get off at a different place than where you get on. It was worth it though because we witnessed two rollbacks in a row.
^ Same here. My first time on TTD, I had my purse and then they told me to get out of the line and put it away. I was able to get back to my spot in line though. I have no idea why I carried my purse around that day...
I'm sure food would be okay in the queues, because you'd always finish it before getting on the ride. Unless it's a walk on then I don't know...

The park also indicated that there will be some kind of blue line at the front of the park, and once you pass that, you have to follow the rules. In fact, Hank made it clear that if we (the people in the room) wanted to spread the word by going to all the newspapers, radio stations, etc he would be very happy that we would be helping to get the word out about that policy.

I think I was the only one in the room at No Coaster Con who boo'd I think you are outside in a park....so smoking outside of the "circle" isn't going to affect anyone. I mean, you can walk away if you see someone smoking. But thats not saying I think you should be able to smoke ANYWHERE, like no smoking in ques, bathrooms, stations, ect. But, if you walk over "the smoking circle", I think a polite "please stay in the circle" would be better then no tolerance. I personally think that they should take this "extra" security and effort and use it to stop line jumping, fights, vandalism, stealing, ect....instead of smoking.
^I don't, because of the mere fact that people will pull the whole "well if he can smoke over there, why can't i?", therefore, it's better just to ban it EVERYWHERE except designated areas. As far as i'm considered, the fact that you can smoke on the property is an outdoor exception, cause anywhere indoors won't allow smoking altogether. I think this year will be the first year when people start really getting on smokers, which i partly side with and partly don't agree with, but whatever, policy is policy.
I'm extremely stoked about this new ride!! I've been waiting years for an indoor coaster (ever since i rode Mummy down at USF). I know it's not on the same scale as Universal, but anything close is awesome enough for me!!!!!!!! Especially with the effort they are asserting towards it.
Overall, i think all the choices they've made this year have been awesome! I think Johnny Rockets will fit in magnificantly by King Chaos, and i think the Cold Stone will be a cool outpost. I also like seeing them paint RB before it gets to the "they should paint this status" that so many other rides are in right now. Finally, i know the locker policy can be a pain, and the lack of 100 percent stage shows at the theaters are slightly disappointing, but i feel they've done a good job adapting these so it shouldn't be TOO upsetting.
WAY TO GO SIX FLAGS IN 2008!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
If you think I'll be disappointed by TDK you're wrong. I love every ride I've ever ridden, and I find every ride enjoyable. (believe it or not) I'm excited for it and I won't be let down.
I personally think that whether this ride turns out to be crappy, amazing, mediocre, or just good, It is a great stepping stone for the park, and for the chain. Now Let's just hope that the actual expericance lives up to the concept art.
I'm afraid to say this, but I remember when superman came out, everyone was concerned about "what was superman doing in New Orleans?" either i'm daft, or no one has mentioned that yet. I don't think it will really matter, but I felt the need to bring it up, as how will be feel walking down bourbon street and suddenly seeing a Gotham City Transportation System building at the end of the street?
Captain, don't shake the passengers up too much this time! Just giving them their money's worth!
I'm thinking sooner or later that half of Orleans if not the whole remaining part outside of Mardi Gras will eventually become DC Comics Plaza similar to some other SF parks.
