Ttd: I'm sure whenever pics come out will know about it. I think due to the small size of this coaster that won't be for awhile, if ever. All we have is 4 months left.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

True because those mouse coasters don't take long it's just the building and scenery/affects but those shouldn't take long either.
Top 3 Steel Coasters: 1. The Incredible Hulk 2. Maverick 3. Dragon Challenge (Fireball)
Top 3 Wood Coasters: 1. The Beast 2. American Eagle (Red) 3. Hades
Yeah, but no matter what coaster it is....they take up to a month just for testing. They have to make sure each car is running right, all the brakes are at the right pressure, the block sections are working properly, and the scenery.
I would just like to know what is going up first. Most of the building or the track...or maybe a little of both.
I think the coster is going to be horrible another mouse type of ride is ridiculous. We need to up the ante at this park. If you think about it the only real extreme rollercoater we have is raging bull, and that still thrills but jeez. I know pwople love the classics like the eagle, the demon, and the whizzer, but if you really think about it what has this park done lately as far as extreme coasters. We don't have a Scream,X, or anything with substance at all. It seems this park is constantly shafted on the big coasters. I really think Six Flags Inc. should trim down on the amount of parks, and start building up the quality of rides. I really don't think this ride will be a big deal. I know several people that work at the park and yes De Ja Vu is a gone, and we are stuck with this indoor mouse ride label Dark Knight WOW
Wow....I just want you to know, I'm trying really hard not to insult you.
Moron.
Guess I failed.
Six flags has finally learned it's lesson that Big thrills don't necessarily mean a big return in the pocket. Look at disney, No big thrills, and yet they consistantly outperform us beyond your imagination...Outperform isn't even a strong enough word, but I can't think of a better one.
The fact that it's another mouse is irrellevant because it's going to be a dark ride, most of the general public won't even notice the similarities between cajun and dark knight.
And as far as upping the ante at this park...they are, that's why we're getting this.
Captain, don't shake the passengers up too much this time! Just giving them their money's worth!
^^^
You baphoon your nuts if you think this ride is upping the ante. For kids 13 and under maybe not for adults that want real thrills. Are you telling me a mouse ride in the dark is upping the ante. Keeping de ja vu and putting like a flooorless ride in would have been upping the ante. So I guess next your telling me by changing the color on the batman like they did just made you piss your pants.
shckwave man you need to calm down. I think this is going to be a great addition to the park. This ride will really balance the park out. It sounds like it will be fun. The theming should be awesome.
^ Well, if you want extreme thrills, Cedar Point is only 5 hrs away. I understand it is hard to comprehend why a park can't have only extreme rides to cater to thrill seekers like yourself, but the reason as to why your upset, is the same reason why the chain is in major debt. Build em bigger, faster, and push away the core group of customers; families.
But hey, this topic about thrill rides, and Six Flags has been beaten to death on these boards, but yet, they always seem to be entertaining when members like you come on complain about not getting a floorless, hyper, mega coaster to make thrill seekers like you happy. Hate to tell you this, but the days of "upping the ante" of huge roller coasters at Six Flags are in a coma right now, and don't expect to have it come out soon.
Again, if you want a thrill park that caters to thrill seekers, and basically treats families with little kids as bothersome guests, well then go to Cedar Point.
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.

Raise your hand if you know what he's talking about...way to pull that one out of left field.
I would explain again about how Six Flags is a business, but as it's been done probably hundreds of times now, I'll let you figure out what the search button is for.
But, to make things simple, I'll just say this. Shockwave...You are no longer Six Flags' target Demographic.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Captain, don't shake the passengers up too much this time! Just giving them their money's worth!
He's wrong. I told him how it is. Would you rather that everyone just posted like that and there were no longer any intelligent posters on the board? Shckwave has come across as having no idea what he's talking about, I am merely informing him.

The days of "upping the ante" in the industry are over/at a standstill as of now, not just Six Flags. The end-results of the recent record breakers and pushing the envelope rides (Top Thrill Dragster, Kingda Ka, Son of Beast, X) has caused parks to realize that they cannot afford the extreme amounts problems the rides have and large of maintenence they need. Parks have also realized that while they have spent all their money building and maintaining monster roller coasters, they disregarded a demographic that can make them more money. Hence why we see so many more brands, family attractions, and kiddie areas being built right now. Parks will continue to build coasters but extreme coasters are not being built as often as they were in the recent past. This is why TDK is a Mack Mouse coaster, and not a more creative layout. By buying a proven reliable coaster with a quality manufacturer (Mack is quality product, unlike the crap Reverchon/Zamplera hybrid they have nearby) they can extensively dress the ride up and make it one of the most popular rides in the park.

TDK is considered by SFI as a HIGH THRILL attraction.

Yes Well, if you look at the all rides page you'll notice "Hen's Splish splash fountain" because clearly it's a female chicken and not an octopus on top of it.
I wouldn't put too much stake in SFI's website writing skill.

They showed a lot better artwork at NCC yesterday. These pictures are from my phone but well, it confirms a lot.
Here's the main layout of the entire ride and the queue.
^As you can see, the queue does take up all of Theatre Royale and there IS a pre-show. After the pre-show there will be something causing the effect that you're running away/trying to escape ect.
Here is what they are planning to do to the front of Theatre Royale.
Here's a special effects map of the ride.
I guarantee more people took pictures so you might be able to make out what some of the effects are, but I did see the words fire a few times...
Here's what the cars will look like.
Now there's a lot going on in this next one so let me explain.
There is the picture of the ride on top, and theres the picture of the car and a light on the bottom. Now if you look at the ride again theres a tunnel, there will be two of them, and the first one is on the lift. It's going to have subway lights going up it the whole time, and there is one more tunnel that they aren't talking about.
There was some concept art for special effects and what you'll see in the pre-show, but it was mainly just a few stills that didn't explain much.
