Dejavu Is not coming down my cousin works there and he works the ride. They said they dont wanna cause it is working so good this year.

What the park wants to do and what corporate wants the park to do is normally 2 very different things.

When Mark Shapiro is getting letters on his desk every day that say "This ride is always closed when we visit," "This ride always breaks down when we're in line," "this rides line move slower than a glacier," he's not going to care weather the park wants to keep it or not. SF corporate is going to get rid of a lot of dead weight with rides that have problems: look at DejaVu at OG and Chiller at GAdv.

One day it can be confirmed and the next day the idea is scrapped...That or employees are b/s ing about what is happening to Vu or anything else.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

some employees think they know what they are talking about but they don't know anything. The park isn't going to tell hundreds of high school/college workers the future of the park. Because then everyone will find out easily. Only the head employees, who can be trusted, will know the future. And most of the time, the future is changed at the last minute anyway.

It would help if i said that my moms friends husband is best friends with Hank Salimi (i think thats how u spell it) and he said if they were going to do it it would not be for a year or two. I believe what you guys are saying but it is staying up for at least a year or two.

Hank Salimi is no longer GM.
John Curty is, Hank is "Park President", so they basically are sharing the responibilties right now.

And then next week it'll be staying again, and then the week after that it'll be going again. Once again I am agreeing with CryptKeeper.

Someone is yanking your chain in all directions at once and they're probably having a hell of a time watching you jump at every small lead they give you. If we want someone to ruin the fun of waiting and guessing what's going to happen next we'll talk to RagingBullFan, at least he has the ability to form cohesive sentences, and, hey, he's usually got it close to right. All you do is spout rumor, after rumor, after rumor. You try to act like this big bad former ride op, but you couldn't even talk about that with any authority. Albeit, all I do is make sarcastic comments and tear people down, it's still better than the likes of you. How can we trust anything that you say? You are either getting fed lots of odd information, or you are a liar.

Shape up!

Oh, so you're connected. Sorry for any doubt, we'll take it as gospel from now on.

The park wants it to stay, but as stated earlier or else where, it is ultimately up to corporate if it stays or goes. Hank or Curty really can't make the decision, but they do have the power of influence.

Where did John Curty come from? Six Flags, Paramount, Universal, where? Just curious so that way we can dream about what he will do at the park.

Aww what an innocent post! Hey CoasterBoy just so you know John Curty has been with Six Flags for quiet some time actually as far as I know he has worked at Six Flags Great America for the past 20+ years. His most recent position within the park, was as the Director of Park Operations. John Curty is a great influence on the park and will do even more good for the park as general manager than he ever has. I wish the best of luck to him and I know he will do great!

Well, I'll be there... I sure hope it won't be my last ride on Vu. But if it is, then so be it... I'll survive. I just won't have it to run to in the morning! So maybe I'll go to Batman, which is harder.

I actually really like SUF. I now it doesn't offer too much after the pretzel loop, but I still consider it one of my favorite coasters.
