I'm guessing by now that most of you have heard the rumors of the possible removal of DeJa Vu at the end of the 2007 season.
As I write this, the official park word is that it's still undecided.
With that, I have been in contact with the park about getting some closing night final rides, so that those who like the DeJa Vu, have a chance to be one of the last to ride. Should DeJa Vu stay for 2008, this is still a great way to end the season. Just so I don't get any confusion, this is not an ert session, the park will be running 3-4 cycles for us just after park close, to allow us the chance to be one of the last to ride for the season. Or in worst case forever. So if you plan on being at the park closing day, this would be a fun way to end the year.
The last rides for the 2007 season will be limited to 100 people on closing night Oct. 28 at 9:00 pm. All Ace members are invited to bring 1 guest. If you would like to take part, email me with your name, Email, Ace # and the name of your guest if you plan on bringing one. Do to the fact that we are limited, I will take the first people to respond to this email. I will contact everyone who made the list by this Friday Oct. 19th with more information.

http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
At this time of the year, with the cooler weather hitting the area, Vu will have trouble running and may not open at all that final weekend. If there are too many problems, don't expect it to open. It runs slower in the cold and there is a higher chance of an error to occur because the timing can be thrown off just a tad with the cooler track.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
I really hope that they don't demolish Deja Vu until at least the end of next season. I only get to go to Great America once a year, and I have never been on it, so please don't get rid of it before I get my ride!
was talking to Scott Heck yesterday and if DV is closed for whatever reason on closing day he hopes to have it moved to another ride, possibly bull, but he isn't sure if that can/will happen, he's still organizing it.
