and ive hear thew might tear down vu AND splashwater falls and put a coaster with a connecting tunnel in that spot. hey who knows
For the last time, that's not happening!!! At least this year...
If someone thinks about this, its pretty obvious on what it could be

I will seriously probably stop going to SFGam if they took out Vu. Well, actually not really but maybe think about not going. That ride is the hidden gem of our park and should not be leaving anytime in the next hopefully millon years. Vu is the way to society, it holds speical keys and very fond memories in everyone's hearts. Sure it has its ups and downs, but so do elevators!
Pretty sure I've posted something like this before...
But Deja Vu was the coaster that really sparked my interest in the enthusiast community. It's where I've met a lot of fellow enthusiasts and it was always the ride to go to at the beginning of the day.
All coasters need to go sometime, and it might just be Vu's.

I first read what I bolded as a complete sentence, it made me laugh, a lot. Seriously. The way to society, and special keys?
Also, every coaster has its ups and downs. If someone made a ride that was just ups . . . I suppose they would have made a ski lift . . .
Thanks for the laugh, I understand what you are saying, but the way you worded it was funny.
RCDB says: "The Crystal Beach Cyclone is considered by many to be the most extreme roller coaster ever built."
Hey, if it goes, we shalt all remember the greatness of the Vu crew of 2005, crew of the year of the entire SFI corporation! HAHA! Seriously, best crew I have even seen working a ride. Getting that thing over 600 people per hour is an accomplishment.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
^ What about me hitting 740pph at Terror Twister ??? Can't forget about that lol

Haha. I don't think it will happen this year, but for 2009. My guess, not to start rumors, and I haven't heard this from anyone, [ again, not trying to spread rumors. ] is that it would be a dive machine, the lift hill starting over where swf is now, diving down under the midway, pulling an immelman [ how ever you spell it, ] going over to where vu is now, doing a few other elements, and the break run, going back under the midway, then going up another camel back, then diving down into the splash pond that is used for swf right now, i don't know, that's just what I was thinking, but who knows, I'm more than likely 99% wrong lol. I suppose it's more of a wish than a guess, but it's just an idea for now, lol.
You cant look at the actual ride. You have to look more at the manufacture. The ride it self is a great ride....but the mechanics of it are not great. So its not like its not ride able. Its just that it doesn't run well.
Like, would you rather have a car that you keep having to take in and spend money on it every few weeks....although it is fast and fun to drive? Or would you rather have a normal slower car that is cheap and requires little maintenance?
The ride can only operate in warm, dry weather. And that kind of weather doesn't happen 100% of the time. There is already 4 rides which do not operate in the rain.
-whizzer- the hot track cannot get wet.
-DeJaVu- if it did run in the rain it would probably have a mis catch.
-Spacelys- the tires don't operate in the rain very well.
-Batman- although I don't see this all the time, the oil drips on you if it gets wet.
So right there, 4 rides which cant operate in bad weather. So they are better of getting rid of DeJaVu for something else in the future. Although, I don't see why they cant wait to take it down, until they are getting a new ride for sure.
Ragin' Cajun also can't operate in the rain. Tires in the station + wet = Bad
As far as Whizzer goes, the hot rail itself actually has very little to do with why Whizzer can't operate in the rain (although it is fun to watch ) Whizzer has issues in the rain because the trains don't get traction, and therefore have trouble going up the lift when wet. Also as with Cajun, tires in the station + wet = Bad

Whizzer is not a problem with the hotrail its the drive tires in the station that cant stop the train when wet. Dejavu would either miscatch and or ruin all the wheels leading to a valley such as the loop or boomerang. Spacleys you are correct. Batman you are also correct. Ragin Cajun is like whizzer it has problems stopping in the station when tires are wet.
It seems like V2 works the best in the rain because for one it is covered, two it doesn't have to worry about valleying or braking, and three the back spike is magnetic so it can still work when wet.
I like V2 in the rain because its cool on spikes because you see the rain fall, then you fall down with the rain at the same time so its like the rain isn't even falling.
SWF Should be retheme as Aquaman Ride. Just like the one in SFOT.
The ride should be open on warmer days between Memorial day to Labor Day 80 degees or warmer!

Magnets that are powered by electricity.. I've never seen Vertical Velocity run in the rain ever.

I think Six Flags needs to decide FOR CERTAIN whether to get rid of this ride or not. If they want to keep it, my vote is to do this with the ride. The new theming looks really good at SFOT.
However, if they aren't gonna keep it, get rid of it. I still find it useless. I like it and all, especially since it's probably one of the most well known of the water rides at our park, I still think with a waterpark that's free, you don't need 4 water rides and the space could be useful....
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
