Hmm, some people on a SFoG website are claiming that their Deja Vu has also already been sold overseas.
TK: Why is our Deja Vu staying? Shapiro has already proven with the removal of Batman & Robin - The Chiller that he doesn't want to put up with coasters that are unreliable and costly (due to their unreliability). Unfortunately, Deja Vu fits both categories. So, as much as I would like it to stay, I believe the ride is on the way out.
Trailblazer Tony: Judging by Chiller's example, I doubt that, if Deja Vu is removed, you will not see any comment about it by the park prior to the removal. They will most likely do what they are doing with Chiller and just take it out w/out notifying anyone.
At the very least, we will only have to wait another month+ to see definitely who is right and who is wrong. For the record, I hope I am wrong, but believe I am right.
Little Off Topic to your answer ^^^:
This year DejaVu runs really good, minimal number of downtimes. After Vekoma came to fix DejaVu..... now when dejavu misparks it does not trouble, that means you can load guests and run the ride. When DejaVu is having downtime, it doesn't mean it broke down, 40% of DeJavu downtimes are blood, guest illness, guest in danger zone.
Just because Shapiro says "blah blah blah", it doesn't mean it will happen. He isn't the only one to make decisions, he is there to represnt Six Flags, he can say stuff, but you never know. If he was in charge of making decisions, he would have demolished DejaVu back when they took over SF. Mark Shapiro really likes DejaVu, the only thing he doesn't like about it, is that it broke down a lot back in 02/03/04/05, it got better in 06, but still not enough for Shapiro, BUT 2007 is a great year for DejaVu. SFGAm manangment is really happy to see Vu working fine this year.
Just hold your horses, you will get schocked to see DejaVu and Splash Water Falls staying.
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!
Are you an idiot???? You will never be able to load or unload before maintenance comes up and resets it!! Dejavu never trouble lights for a mispark! Never has and never will.
I dont know if the rides is staying or going, but i do know the ride is down as often as it operates.
While it may be running a little more than past years, it is still down way too much and I would perfer it be replaced that by a ride that is more reliable.
Oh really??? Next time IF you will see it mispark, IF you will, cause I donno if you will anymore, LOOK. Or next time u come to SF ask DejaVu operator.

Well, away from this brawl..... I think that this is the rumor that I'll be following because it does sound convincing to me, but what do I know? I know some info about this subject and I wouldn't be surprised to see it leaving.
Now, Deaja Vu is one of my favorite rides, and if it does fall from our park, yes, I'll be one of those people trying to get a loose screw or other deja vu crap that was disposed to have a little memory for a "scrapbook" but we must face the truth. Of course I may be completely wrong and look like a fool, but if it does get taken down then it really shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary.
----Some one in these forums knows very well what's gonna happen to vu (not me), but I am sure some one knows......
This is a very bad assumption to make, but I will anyways.
I can only assume SFGAdv's closing day is around/the same as ours, and they are already starting to disassemble Chiller.
Now shouldn't the same be going on over here?
Though I do not know the parks intentions, maybe this could actually be it Deja Vu's last year, and removal may just occur in the offseason? But I haven't seen that as the case often.
Just think back Skywhirl, and Shockwave, and even spanning out to other parks, SFGAdv with El Toro, and even some extreme demolition over at Cedar Point before Maverick. All of those removals began before October, or the rides were at least closed by this time.
I know the season isn't over yet, but I'd think we'd see some obvious signs that it was leaving, and as of right now, I see none.

No. Chiller has been down all season - or if it did open, it only opened for a VERY VERY small amount of time. It has been closed for as long as I can remember...so, that's most likely why they're taking it down now instead of the offseason.

It seems like a complete waste now that they replaced those zero-g rolls...
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
^Maybe that rumor for a premier coaster was true and this is what we are getting
...just kidding.
But I wonder why they deceided to change it in the first place if they werent going to run it. Either premier did it for free, or something bad happened to the ride.
If they took out one of the flumes they could have enough room for the B&R chiller thriller. It would fit in Yankee Harbors theming. Even if they just put in one side it would be cool.
They could probably fit Chiller in SWF's area, though we all know that this park does not need another coaster that is unreliable. Give us Freeze back!
