Fright Fest 2007

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby IrishTinkND on September 10th, 2007, 12:47 am
I was just wondering if anyone has seen any signs of Fright Fest 2007 in the park yet. They usually start gradually decorating the park at this time of year.

^No, its not really gradual decorating, its advertising. THey dont put up realy decor until after the very last day. But, yes, there are something up like tiny, a few grave stones, "greed", and mayor slayers car. There might be more but thats all i can remember.

The only thing I've seen are the 'cobwebs' around the park. They stuck to fences, lightposts, and trees.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

No I haven't but I'm going to Fright Fest for my first time! I'm guessing it's going to be packed. Which day should I go and how much is it because usually they have specials for it.

I would go on a friday!!

The park isnt as busy and I think it is much better in the dark, the decorations look better and the scare-actors have a better chance to scare peopl;e by surprising them.

That decision doesnt matter. Saturday is packed, sunday you go have to go home early. I'd deal with the crowds and go saturday just for the darkness.

Well, I have to go either on the first or second Sunday. Is it packed on Sundays? Do you think I would get Raging Bull twice, Hellevator, Snakes on a Train, Eagle, and V2 in?

Speaking of buyouts, I'll be there Sept. 30 for my buddies company buyout. I'll be sure to take pics of the Fright Fest stuff and let you guys see. Last year Terror Twister was already rockin when they had their buyout prior to the first day of Fright Fest, so its kind of a sneak peak for me... :D

i can't wait for FF. I love FF. I think it's my favorite time of year to go. I love the decorations, and watching people get scared by the creature crew. It's just fun. Of course, LAFF is always a highlight for me, but there's lots of other stuff too. I really want to check out the new movie haunted house this year. It sounds like it could be really really cool.

You won't catch me in an haunted houses. I walked past Maus and I heard girls screaming at the top of their lungs and I was like "No way..count me out" I like going to FF to watch other people get scared and go on the rides and the weather when it's cool and slightly windy and cloudy. That's the best time to go.

I personally don't care what day I go to FF.
Because theres ALWAYS something to do during FF.
I don't need to be riding things constantly to enjoy myself. I can go see a show, or just hang around Necro.

It's a great time of year for the park, and I'm really excited.

They don't need to get me a job, I always bring in my own makeup in a plastic bag and change in the bathrooms. So fun scaring the hot girls. You'd never know I wasn't part of the crew.
