Six Flags has added new levels of chill to this year's Fright Fest celebration, as guests will have the opportunity to go beyond the roach and sample other insects and gruesome treats on Six Flags' Wheel of Fright. Each park's Wheel of Fright will invite daring guests to spin the wheel for the chance to win front of the line access when the wheel lands on one of six Fright Fest-worthy items. Each is known as a delicacy in parts of the world, and each one of these and other scream- inducing Wheel of Fright items will grant guests front of the line access if eaten! This year, Wheel of Fright items include cockroaches, wax worms, crickets, nightcrawlers, Rocky Mountain oysters and hot hot hot Habenero peppers!
Six Flags' Wheel of Fright starts the Halloween season off with a GULP ... and if that's not enough to tickle your frightful fancy, this year Six Flags is also introducing the creepy Coffin of Fear. For this element of Fright Fest, the squeamish need not apply. Each participating guest will lie in a coffin which is then filled with meal worms. Guests must remain in the mealwormy coffin for at least one minute in order to receive a prize.
pretty sure they dont bite, and I'm pretty sure meal worms aren't slimy either, though it would take more than 4 t-shirts and a front of the line pass for me to do that, I dont find it disgusting or scary, just the gain isnt worth that effort, now if that was a season pass, I'd go for it

I don't think I'll be eating any bugs or enjoying a little nap with the worms.....
haha, love the thing about no stalkers at LAFF.
I think some of the new things sound really cool. As much as I don't like haunted houses, the film one sounds really cool. I'm assuming the rise of the demon scare-area is kind of like Necro...more or less?
I'm liking the idea of the new haunted houses! Anyone know where they are going? I'm assuming the Demon one will replace the old one near Trailblazer....
I also think the candy path sounds great for families and it's nice to have three haunted houses again this year!!!! Thanks for the information Cryptkeeper!
HOORAY FOR THE FREAK SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
Anyone know which rides are returning under Frightfull conditions? Around this time I always get worried if my favorites won't be listed... i.e. Hellevator/Terror Twister, etc...

Well, that's kinda right. First off, there's only 1 "new" house. Studio 13 is just a new name and theme from "The Curse" and will be in the same location as the curse. The Mausoleum of Terror isn't new but will most likely have a new layout. And i don't believe Demon is getting a house, its going be like a kind of second Necropolis is all only smaller.
Terror Twister is coming back hopefully even though I don't go on it.....have no freaking idea on Hellevator we'll just have to wait and see if it is or not.
i like terror twister too. I can only ride it once per visit though. I've gotten sick the past couple of years. If things work the same way they did last year with the people i hang with for FF, then there'll be a slow moving teacup with my name on it.
