Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

When I went to the park on labor day, I noticed that the dippin' dots stand lowered their prices to 4.99 again. It was 5.50 since the beginning of the 07 season.

Dippin dots are best, but for some reason they are only the best to have a gam! It's not the same for me when eating them in the mall.

Wait wait wait wait...the price of something at the park went DOWN? Are we sure that's even possible?

I don't think that six flags determines the prices of foods becuase i do not belive that sfi owns the dippin dots co.

Dippin Dots is a franchise, in SFGAm's case it would be owned by the park.
the best ones are chocolate chip cookie dough, but only place I ever seen that is at IAAPA (where the price is just right, free and all you can eat)

^ Ugh chocolate chip cookie dough is my favorite ice cream. I'd love to try the Dippin Dots style. It'd be great if GAm had more flavors than just 4, or whatever. 4.99 is still a lot though. When I get a job I'll be willing to buy it.

Six Flags can set the price anyway they like on dippin dots. While most once a year guests won't notice any change in price, the regulars will. It's the end of Ice cream season, thus probably trying to empty the freezer.
I know a couple years ago, Cedar Point raised the prices for a month, then lowered them back down. I think the price is driven by the market.

Maybe its because its getting colder so fewer people want to buy ice cream. They need to get people to buy them so they lower the price.
