Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

In universal, I remeber the lines to The Hulk being shaded and actually being a decent queue with fans, tvs, and A/C inside.

Montu is probably one of the most overrated coasters i've ever been on. Its not nearly as intense as a BTR and the MCBR ruins the second half.

I'll agree about the 2nd half of your statement but that's it.. Batman is too short and too intense for its size.. Montu has a very nice layout and doesn't need to have the intensity of Batman. The inversions still pack a punch while keeping the ride enjoyable.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Thank you Zjohn. I think batman is more overated than montu. The lines for batman are huge, and it is way to short for my taste, and It just is not my favorite ride.

I rerate a coastr everytime a ride it.
Everyone of the 10 times i got off montu i was satisfied.
Everyone of the countless times i've gotten off batman except once(front row) i was unsatisfied.

At one point in time, Montu was insane. I forget how long ago it was, but Busch greatly toned down the ride, and it changed the feel of the ride dramatically.

It is about an equal difference in ride experience as the first drop brakes on Mantis is to it. Mantis pre-drop brake would leave your legs positively tingling by the end of the ride. Now, it is still a fun ride, but it isn't half as intense as it once was.

^My legs still tingle on that ride WITH the brake on.

One place that i found this summer had an interesting line experience was Busch Gardens Williamsburg. I not once in my entire visit encountered a slow moving line. All of their coasters (with a slight exception of Big Bad Wolf) are great line movers. To me, the fast lines, no matter how long, are always the best to wait in!

Another side note about their lines was that they were all incredibly wide. The width of the staircase in Bull would probably be the thinnest i ever saw the lines at Busch Gardens and because they are wider, the length of them seem shorter. Like Griffon, there is half of a zigzag queue house and then the station. THAT'S IT! The line was wide enough and moved fast enough to only need that much. Since nobody line jumped there, it seemed to work out wonderfully! Just something i thought most would find interesting.
