Is splashwater Falls being removed??

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I doubt they'll get rid of the flumes and SWF in the same year, even though that would be a great locationfor a water themed coaster. Give it a name like i dont know, something water related.

SWF are has enough room for a coaster.

And Go gart tracks could really go.

But i wouldnt expect anything close to bull.

If they remove Splash Water Falls I'll be really mad. That was one of my favorite rides when I was little and I have pictures to prove it! Plus it's good if it's an exhaustingly hot day and I don't feel like going to Hurricane Harbor because of my lack of interest in swimming. And I will be even more ticked off if they put in Thomas World or whatever. I HATE wiggles world. I miss the way the park used to be.

I to am not fond about Wiggles, but they didn't really get rid of anything important to make it, and it brings all the kids over there, so I'm ok with it.

SFGAm used to have 2 Sky Rides, both were removed, as awesome as it would be to get one it's way unlikey. I think the Village of Gurnee may protest also if SFGAm tried to build a new one as they are in charge of rescuing people off of it when it breaks down.

Also a coaster stretching from SUF to SWT is indeed absurd.

I'd say if SFGAm gets anything it will be fairly modest in size.

I think out park is gonna get something either this year or next year. SF is purchasing 8 new coasters so i think we have above average ods of getting a new small coaster.

I like to go to six flags and I like it when they get new things. All we got last year was Tornado, and Wiggles World this year. Something is bound to happen for next year.

We don't need another kiddie area. It's kid friendly enough....soon theme parks will be all called Kiddie land. It's stupid.....I understand Shapiro wants to be "kid friendly" But enough is enough.

\Even though some people want a big coaster I'm ok with a good size wild mouse. The drops on those are small but still very fun!!! Like the one at Cedar Point. Those are one of my favorite types of coasters but many people disagree with me.
Top 3 Steel Coasters: 1. The Incredible Hulk 2. Maverick 3. Dragon Challenge (Fireball)

Top 3 Wood Coasters: 1. The Beast 2. American Eagle (Red) 3. Hades

Thank you Sheikra. So now we know, either we get a new coaster next year, or we go the longest without one in park history.
Eh.......I got nothing.

I think a new waterpark is better that a coaster because it expands the park a lot, and giving people more options.

The second longest weve been without was about 3 years (American Eagle - Z force). And now, its has been three years....so this might be the year.

TTD rox, i am with you with the mouse coasters. A lot of people dont care for them, but i do like them, but i obviosly like bigger coasters better, well usually.

I wonder when were getting a press release for what they are going to put in casue if they dont put in a new coaster, we might get other attractions, such as thomas town.

We still don't know what there using SWF area for, but we'll know eventually by press release, scream scape, ext.

I do have some ideas that are family related
Another Whizzer-like coaster, maybe even enclosed.
A suspended coaster-family ride.

Thank you someone agrees with me. Enough is enough. Yeah you can have kiddie areas in a park but we don't need them overrunning the park. You would have to be really stupid and need help if you want to be yet another kiddie area when you just built one. It's pointless. SWF is a great ride....kids can go on that too. You don't need to build another stupid kiddie area for no apparent reason. Sorry if this really bothers people but enough is enough.

Like many people have said before, we might have to eventually make way for Six Flags-Kiddie Kindom, six flags-kiddie mountain, six flags over kiddie land, six-flags kids adventure, ext.

We need a new thrill.

If that happened...I would never go there again. Wiggles World is enough...I hate going to the park knowing that area is actually there. I hardly go over there anymore because I hate Wiggles. They're gay and annoying. At least Thomas isn't annoying....if I could choose Wiggles or Thomas I would have chosen Thomas to go where Eagle's entrance was. The stupid Big Red Car ride looks so pathetic where it was put it just has no themeing besides signs from different countries which make it worse. I really hate it and the theming there just looks horrible.

I never saw so many whiney enthusiasts all in one topic.

How is the park over run with kiddie areas? They now have 3 and none of them are overly huge in stature.

Burke and Co. pumping out coaster after coaster is the reason Six Flags is in the financial toilet right now.

SFGAm is one of the most complete parks I have seen. It has a great collection of flats, coasters, kids areas, and a waterpark.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
