Well I was only 12 when it happened and I really didn't cry....I was just really sad because I wanted to sit in the front row with my dad. Because my dad was never on it I finally talked him into it. Then when we walked up to the ride, the ride was closed.

I can see it. shockwave was definitely my favorite. I can't bring myself to ride Superman. partly out of respect for Shockwave, partly out of a desire to keep the contents of my pockets, within said pockets.

I know a few other people including myself are old enough to remember Batman's first year. Those were some h*llishly long lines! My mom and I were too afraid to ride it, so my brothers, sister, and dad would get in line at the beginning of the day. My mom and I would just meet them at the exit by the end of the day, haha. (An exaggeration, but still some 4+ hour lines)

^ I know you have been told this so many times, but it is NOT dull, it may be short, but not dull. It won a few rewards, and why would Six Flags chose to clone it at many of their parks? Well it's just your opinion but still, I will only ride it between Walk-on and 45 mins

^It won a few rewards, what did it find?! A missing dog?! just kidding

Seriously though, i think dull is the last word i would use for Batman, now Superman, that's a different story. Either way, i think waiting in a long line would be justified for anyone who doesn't ever get to ride them (like a vacationer to the area), that's the only time i would recommend waiting over an hour.

Superman is dull.

If i was vacationing and it would be my only chance to ride it then yes. But Montu was my first invert and it blew me away. It was amazing. And then i rode batman and i thought it was dull. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Supermans lines result in hour plus waits. Its not that tall, its not that fast, but the pretzel loop is amazing.

The longest I'll wait for this ride is 20 minutes. The first time i rode it i waited an hour and 30 mintues.

I would like superman a lot more if it would used nature or a tunnel. and some themeing. Those portraits arent great themeing. Batman has good themeing.

Montu is probably one of the most overrated coasters i've ever been on. Its not nearly as intense as a BTR and the MCBR ruins the second half.

^I agree. Sheikra13 are you confusing variety and layout with intensity? Cause as a layout, Batman is short and now where near as crazy as Montu, however, at the speed Batman pulls through it's course, it is definitely very intense!

Well, when i ride a coaster i rate them by how my i like the ride. I have never gotten off batman satisfied.

Batman is intense, but Montu is wicked crazy.

I take back what i said about batman being dull. i just dont enjoy it. i think its way to short, and i just dont care much for it.

Montu is bigger, has more inversions, and always freaks me out when i'm riding it. And i actually enjoy the ride.

^ I just don't know what you mean, but you entitled to an opinion, but its shocking to hear that! It's still popular and you could check by the ride lines!

In that case, then i agree with you. I, too, am finding myself liking Batman less and less, thus making me not wanna wait in a line longer than the tunnel.

Whizzer: 30 minutes
Demon: 5 min
Viper: 30 minutes
Raging Bull: 45 minutes
Deja Vu: 1 hour
AE: 5 minutes
IW: 1 minute, oh darn, guess i can't ride it
V2: 1 hour
Batman: 5 minutes
Ragin Cajun: 1 hour
Superman: 5 minutes

Anything over an hour is not worthy of waiting since I come here all the time. The only exception would be fright fest or if i was with someone who DOESN'T get to go as often as me.

Longest: 4.5 hours for Son of Beast at King's Island, opening year. They had one train running. IT WAS RIDICULOUS!

Shortest: any walk ons

^I agree. I've never really minded waiting in line. I just don't like standing out in the sun when lines reach times of over an hour. I wish all the lines were completely shaded.

What parks have you guys been to that had the longest average line (Not just one or two long lines)? For me it would have to be Universal Studios Orlando. Every coaster, along with many other rides, had a minimum of 1 and a half hour wait.
