Sounds like some people just got scared of the bump at the end and overreacted to me.

I agree with you on this one. I haven't been on this thing in a long time, but from what I remember, the jolt at the end was never really that bad.

Yeah, again, BS with peeps trying to get $$$ out of six flags from law suits. Orbit always has a jolt due the fact that there is no shock system, just a press board when it stops. (by press board, i mean there is a little thing under the platform that helps to slow the ride). But there are still not shocks making a bump which is not hospital like conditions. BS BS BS BS!!!!!

It has to be an overprotective / overreactive mother looking for a reason to whine and complain. I've felt that jolt every time I've ridden Orbit and I've never had "neck or back pain" afterward.

Wrong, There is are two shock systems on Orbit. What do you think it just slams into the concrete??

ehh..When I went for my trip about a month back...they had shut down orbit for a while. Don't know if this was the same problem they had with the jerking forward, or what.
