Given what has been suggested by some folks on these boards how Great America should be, I've created a 5th dimensoin SFGAm. Here goes.......First of all it wouldn't be called Six Flags Great America, just Six Flags. Nobody would remember who designed the place (Randall Duell) and there wouldn't be any themed areas, just one big themed area called "The SouthCountyPlace home of the Yukon Square" and it wouldn't have any discernable theme becuase according to people on these boardsnobody would care. Just a lot of garbage cans, bathrooms, and cartoon characters whose shows were cancelled in the 50's. It would just a large expanse of concrete dotted with ring toss buildings. As for the different attractions, there would be 5 large coasters, all super hypertwisterinvertedLIMpropelledstandup coasters with seatbelts that weren't long enough so nobody would be able to ride anyways. And all five of them would be the same. And when one would open it would cause the nearby ride to go down for power failure. As for flat rides, there would be some, but they would never be open becuase they all had signs out front that said "Future Development"because according to sources on these boards nobody rides them. The only food available would be funnel cake. But it would always be burned and the ice cream melted.Employees would be slow at their jobs (even though they try really hard), but the rides would be unsafe because the guests complain too much about the slow moving crews as they tried to make corrections that make the rides unsafe in the first place. Guest First Service would be whomever is first in line at GR to file a complaint.Sounds like fun, huh?I'm expecting this topic to get locked pretty quickly (you know who you are) and hopefully the 2 saviors that have helped me in the past come to my rescue, because I'm only having a little fun. Some people don't have a sense of humor.[/b]
Funny, i kinda like your way of thinking, Because this is what a Big Company like Six Flags is seemingly heading towards. All they care about is money and not there guests. I still love them anyway
See I have said it all along - The way I judge a park is:1. Theme2. Flat Rides/Family Rides3. Good reliable coasters4. Staff and ride operators (Line Control)5. Park food (I don't really care for park food anyway)Great America really doesn't do all that well in the first two catagories and some of their coasters are not reliable. Their rides ops and staff perform well except for the way they handle crowd control. Don't get me wrong I love the Great America, but I have been to better THEME parks
hahha I love that idea of a SUPER-HYPER-INVERTED-TWISTER-LIM-PROPELLED-STAND UP!! oh man that was great...sorry this is two posts in a row whatever, it's late, i'm tired
