Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Does anyone know if Great America still does the Read to Succeed program....and if they do, when do this years free tickets expire?
I know they usually expire around this time of the year, and I don't want to go to the park on one of the last days.
Go Bulls!

Yes, they expire after the first week in August I believe. Crowds are starting to come in from them, the family rides had huge lines (a bit worse than a normal July Saturday). SSA had full queues and extended back to the go-karts, Demon/Cajun/Eagle/Viper all had full queues very early in the day, and all the flat rides had long lines.

I think Saturday was the first time I've seen Jester with a queue spilling onto the midway.

Don't put too much stock into the Read to Succeed deal. Sure, on the weekends it will be hell, but yesterday (WED), the crowds were not bad in the dry park at all. Bull was 20-30 minutes all day. The crowds were not bad, maybe because of the heat?
