Admit it, Superman haters. When S: UF first opened, you loved it to death. Why? Because it was an awesome new concept. A flyer! Who'd a thunk B & M could come up with such a thing? And then Tatsu comes along. Those fortunate enough to be able to go to MM and ride the thing have become spoiled and begun to hate Superman JUST BECAUSE IT'S NOT AS GOOD! Sure OK. It's not as good. But the roller coaster business is always about trying to improve on old designs and make new coasters that are even better. Which means Tatsu eventually is probably going to seem like crap compared to some flyer they make sometime in the future. And then you'll all hate Tatsu and say it's crap because there's a better flyer out there. It wouldn't matter even if they build it in China or something. Think about this for an analogy. My favorite ice cream flavor is Cookies and Cream, but guess what? If I could only have Vanilla (which isn't even my second choice, but I still like it), I wouldn't say no, it's crap. I hate it. Because well, I still like it. The point is, you all can give me other excuses to hate S: UF and I won't believe a single one of them. The fact is, it's the only flyer GAm has, so enjoy it while you're there because it's as close to your beloved Tatsu as THAT park can get. You choose not to enjoy one of your previous loves because there's something better out there and it doesn't even matter to you that it's miles and miles away. It's like saying to a friend of yours in Gurnee "You are not my friend anymore. I found a better friend in California. He's a lot cooler, even though I can't see him very often."
Thank you for letting me get that off my chest. Go ahead, start naming excuses. I have two ears. One to hear what you say and one to push it out of my head. Got it?
Hee hee, look. I have a signature thingy um, thing.
S: UF is at Six Flags Great America, right? And this IS the Six Flags Great America forum, right? Seems like it's on topic to me. And if it gets locked, it'll only prove my point that people don't want to admit that what I said was true. Yep. Yessiree Bob.
Hee hee, look. I have a signature thingy um, thing.
You're flying! Flying is not boring. If you were like me, your ultimate dream would be to be able to fly. And like I said, IT'S THE ONLY FLYER WE GOT AT GAM! It seems people don't listen to me. Ride it and enjoy it. Nothing left to offer. Just enjoy the ride. You people. Boy oh boy. I just don't get you.
Hee hee, look. I have a signature thingy um, thing.
I never told you anything about superman. I told you about how much I loved Deja-vu, and then I told you how I liked bull in the front row better...BACKWARDS.
But you mentioned you went on Superman, right? I thought. But still, you never answered my question. You are a Superman hater? Let me ask you this, have you ever been on Tatsu? If not, you secretly love Superman and don't want to admit it because it supposedly has "nothing to offer after the pretzel" like rct2wizard said. You are flying. I've yet to hear a legitimate excuse why anyone should not want to go on the only freakin' flyer we have. And I never will. It's one of the coasters at GAm, so ride it, people. Variety is the spice of life. Quit riding some of the other coasters so much and get in at least one ride of Superman, dudes. You can afford to not ride one of your favorites at GAm a million times just to ride Superman once. Ride it, then run back to your fave.
Hee hee, look. I have a signature thingy um, thing.
I was there for Superman's opening day BEFORE I was a coaster dork. (I turned coaster dork after that season)
After the 2nd time I got off the coaster I remember saying, "Well, that wasn't nearly as cool the first time"
You have no right to go criticizing what our opinions are, and I'd bet that only 3 or 4 people on this board have ridden Tatsu, search for old Shockwave topics and you'll see how many people on this board think Shockwave should've stayed.
Sorry we don't share the same opinion as you, but maybe you should diversify yourself before you start assuming why people think the way they do.
Edit:
I just wanted to quote you on what you just said:
Thank you for letting me get that off my chest. Go ahead, start naming excuses. I have two ears. One to hear what you say and one to push it out of my head. Got it?
Good luck making any friends in life if you aren't willing to listen to anyone else's opinions.

I just noticed this.
Since when are coaster forums about "staying(fitting?) in?"
Seriously now, just because you like a ride, dosen't mean everyone has to like it. I like Firehawk/X-Flight, and a lot of people don't like it. But you don't see me forcing people to like it.
This is a public forum, and you should expect people to have different opinions other than your own.
Now, I know Im not as up to date with the In crowd like Bull, but let me see here.
S:UF Sucks because a ride that opened 2 years after S:UF opened is taller faster and better?
And because of this new ride which happens to be on the other side of the country, No one likes S:UF anymore?
So with that logic, Im not supposed to go see new movies because there MIGHT be a movie 2 years from now that might be better. Or 2 years from now theres going to be the most awesome greatest thing ever thats so much better then anything else ever made.
Bull, thinks that just because some people dont like S:UF it automatically means that its because of Tatsu.
Which is probably the most absurd statement ever made on this board.
Variety is the spice of life. Quit riding some of the other coasters so much and get in at least one ride of Superman, dudes. You can afford to not ride one of your favorites at GAm a million times just to ride Superman once. Ride it, then run back to your fave.
Yeah Dudes, quit doing something you like to do something you dont like.
makes perfect sense.
Then again what do I know, Im just trying to fit in .
Im glad you like tatsu and think it is better than SUF.
But just because you do doesnt mean everyone will agree,
Im not a fan of SUF and perfer other rides at he park alot more, but its good that everyone has different rides they enjoy or the lines would be even more unbearable that nteh yare now at times.
Just because i may like other B & M inverted coasters at other parks doesnt mean I cant enjoy BTR when im at the park. If a ride at another park is better it doesnt diminish IMHO the enjoyment of a ride you get at this park.
I understand where you're coming from, bull, but your post was a little exaggerated. As everyone else has pretty much said, it doesn't take a good ride to make a bad one look bad. Almost everyone who has posted in this thread has agreed that it's not remotely the best flyer out there. Is it worth the wait? probably not. Is it still fun if you can get on it with a short line? Sure.
