I was there yesterday as well, it did cycle and had at least four successful cycles. Though that last one I saw before it vallied, it was going really slow, especially through the loop; much slower than normal, almost as slow to valley.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
Ooh, Vekoma. Why? I sure hope they don't screw things up and figure that it STILL was not working good and "fix it", only to find out that what they did made it run as bad or worse than it did before it started running great. I don't want to have rode Vu for the very last time, but I just got this funny feeling it's not that long for this world. I hope I'm wrong.
Hee hee, look. I have a signature thingy um, thing.
Not to change the subject from Vu, but what's up with Yankee Clipper? I was there Friday and it was closed with all the water drained. I really wanted to go on it.

Yankke clipper only opens on two occasions..
A) They have extra staff at Loggers run
B) Its at leats 90 degrees
If option B happens without there being extra people at loggers run, then the stuff around it (V2 Batman etc) will lose people and run slower, so I am not too concerned with it being down at all.

Yankee Clipper is more fun than Logger's Run, though. And they shouldn't have to sacrifice staff at Batman and V2 and stuff in order to properly staff Clipper. I don't know, that park has some "issues" or something. Get the heck out of debt and hire some people if you can't run all the rides. For pete's sake.

Actually, when I was at the park sometime in May, they had Logger's Run closed, and Yankee Clipper open, and also it wasn't 90 degrees. I hope they never take out Yankee Clipper, like the other Great America did- it was the first "big" ride I ever went on at Great America on my first visit in 1977. It's also unique- every park has a log flume, but how many have a boat flume (not like Splashwater Falls)?

1: All the water rides in the park open at 11am.
2: Yankee Clipper is open daily.
3: 90 degrees has nothing to do with anything.
rumor has it that sometime soon batman is going to go back down to one train to replace the other set of seatbelts since only one set were replaced. Anybody else hear anything similar?
