Only the launch? I enjoy the ride a lot because not only the launch, but the fear factor of going up that first tower with the sky above you and nothing else and feeling like you're going to fly off the thing and also going down the back tower, and also the suspense when it holds you there for a few seconds. It's an awesome ride in the back, just like Bull.

V2 is one of those rides where you like it, or you dont. It may not live up to TTD, Kingda Ka, or Freeze, but it still gets you going and it is the only launch ride in the park, SO BE GRATEFUL! haha, jk

That's something I was thinking of saying. It's the only ride that launches you in the park. I mean, sure, if they put in a Kingda Ka, TTD, Freeze-ish ride in the same park, of course yawlz are going to bash it and say "V2 sucks, because we got that new ride now." But it ain't gonna happen. Well maybe. Let me know when pigs fly and until then, ENJOY THE RIDE!

Anyways, with that being said, This has got to be my favorite thread EVER! For all those who said to be prepared for launch: Well, I guess you could say my preperation is this: "omg I'm gonna die! Save me! Help!" I have officially been on V2 41 times and I STILL get freakes out before launch.
To the thread starter: Maybe you don't hear people talk much about V2, but you should read AIM convos with me and sfgam12321! ALL we ever talk about is V2! Don't feel alone, my friend! This chick here is the #1 V2 fan!

Did you see anyone asking the mods to close this thread? Then how can you assume we're trying to prevent people from talking about whatever they want. As I recall, a couple people were merely suggesting in this thread (rather than making an entirely new thread) that some more creative topics could be brought up for discussion. Something that would require more than one-liner responses for all the people that are only here to steal post counts (see: ttd rox). As far as I'm concerned, that's no attempt to make the others feel the same. We're all allowed to post our opinions, assuming they're relevant. I can see why you wouldn't be so keen to the subject, but these types of threads share a lot of negative attributes, and so it was brought up (with some minimal sarcasm/humor, you may note).
Your speculations were correct in that nobody's forcing us to post. The right to post is shared by all--the appreciation for such? Not so much...

Per the V2 relevance, it is one of my favorite rides, assuming I can get on either end without too much of a wait. Opening and closing are the best times to marathon it, in my opinion. Though, purely for aesthetics, I prefer to ride at sunset. No better view in the park, except for Bull (but that's just because the ride time is longer). Cold rain on a hot day also makes for a great ride, but typically not on the ends, where you're wailed on the most.

I think V2 is just ok. I dont like it, I dont not like it.
This forum needs a V2 sub forum since this place is such a V2 lovefest even though its the 8th best coaster in the park.
Either you like V2, or you don't. I use to think most people hated it, but lately a lot of people outside of this forum say it's their favorite ride in the park.

Well, you could think it's just ok. My opinion is it's tied for 1st with Raging Bull. But that's just my opinion.
