Well he was wearing a SFGAm shirt and his name tag. We were the last ride of the night and there was an extra seat to hop on. I know for a fact that he worked at the park because there was another employee that gave him a hard time because he was getting on the train. He said, there have to be so many people up here... blah blah blah.

Mine's definately Ragin Bull... I guess just because it is so smooth and gentle. It's very amazing. Except for the brake run, that's a pretty quick stop! lol But it's an awesome ride.

I went on RB once and the brakes didnt touch it on the MCBR and those last couple hills had some nice laterals :)

Why do they have MCBR on the Bull anyways? That ride would be out of hand if they weren't there... like the little hill after the first turn around. You would be so out of your seat. I don't think they need to be quite as powerful as they are!

They need it so they can have 3 train op!! You can't just put any amount of trains on a coaster. There has to be enough "Blocks" that the tain prevents other trains from going into another trains block which could result in a colision!!!

Yes I know that, I guess I meant to ask why the have the trim breaks, not the MCBR, that was a really stupid question I asked. Why are there trims on a couple of the hills? It takes away from the airtime!

That's what I'm wondering. I don't really mind all those trims at all, I enjoy them kind of. It would be nice if they weren't there though...

I guess SixFlags doesnt want it going faster than 72(or whatever) Or maybe if they didnt the Gs are too high... There could be alot of reasons!! We just dont know....
RagingBull350

Postby T_Biggs on January 18th, 2003, 9:13 pm
The trims are there simply to keep the ride at normal operating speeds determined by B&M. You will have the same speed if the trims are off, on, or on hard. They only sit there to make sure it's running like it should... they don't just randomly take away speed to piss you off.

Okay, it makes sense, but why when you go over them, can you hear them grab the train? You're saying if they didn't grab at all the train would go the same speed? :?
