Is Wiggles World 100% complete

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby bhoefer2 on May 19th, 2007, 4:09 pm
So is Wiggles World area done? I saw a review from April saying they had a lot of work to do. We're probably not coming to later this summer, so it may not be a big deal.

Thanks!

I like Wiggle's World. I didn't think I would, but it really turned out nice. It's a great addition.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

Location: really close to the park!!!!!!!!!

Pretty sure that is the scenery :)

Though as of Friday when I was at the park it looked like a fence and a pole light was added since opening day, none of which really adds anything to the ride.

Thanks, guys! So you think a 2-year-old that's Wiggles-Obsessed will like it? :D

I'll have to check the height limits on rides. He's about 34-35 inches now and we're not going for 2-3 months. Most of the rides in the 3 kiddie areas don't have minimums, do they?

Its not 100% done. But is just about done. They are still working on the Wiggles World TV system that will play Music Videos of the Wiggles on it. The TV’s are in place but they are not working yet. And they still have to fix the problem with the fence being to close to the Fruit Salad Ride.

Eh, I don't remember for sure... I do know that all rides can be ridden by both kids and adults though....

As it says in a handbook... "Heights Vary, Check at The Ride"

Thanks again, guys. The official SFGAM website is a little frustrating in terms of ride heights because it just lists the kid "areas" as one attraction. If you actually pick for it to list "Kid" rides it says there aren't any.

Planes: 48" min.
Yummy Yummy: 42" min.

Bouncing, Cars, and Teacups are all 36" min.

Keep in mind the minimums are the requirement for the child to ride alone. The child(ren) must be accompanied by an adult if under any of the height requirements.

Also note that's it is one adult per unit (car, fruit salad, and teacup) with 3 children and 1 adult and 5 children for bouncing (But I believe the park is trying to fix that...since the ride is *supposed* to handle 2 adults)

You scared me with the start of that thread. Because my 2-year-old will have a fit if he can't ride the airplanes. But then I saw that's the minimum to ride by yourself. I have no problem riding with him :D

There aren't any kiddie rides in any of the 3 kiddie areas (besides Sprocket Rocket coaster) that there's a minimum to ride WITH a parent, is there?

Probably just the Spacely Sprocket Rockets coaster.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I think they had the tvs up the weekend of the 11th and 12th, but they weren't playing any videos. I think this area looks really impresive. It's so colorful, and really fun for kids, as well as others ( my group personally spent about a hour in there, and a half hour later in the day).

From what I have seen from the pics, this area really does look very sharp! I am impressed by what the park has done with it's theming! It will be fun to watch/participate in later this summer, when I get to Gurnee.

Oh yeah, it's definitely done up good. It's very colorfull and bright like the Nickelodeon section at PKI but just on a smaller scale.
