Sprocket Rocket height requirement?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby bhoefer2 on May 19th, 2007, 4:07 pm
Have a 4 year old that loved kiddie roller coaster at DisneyWorld and a 2 year old that loves the Wiggles, so we're thinking of coming over to SFGA. But I wondered if there is a minimum height for the Spacely Sprocket Rocket :?: The ride information on this site doesn't say if there's a limit, just that aduts cannot ride by themselves.

Thanks; this was my first post, but you'll see more of me in the next few months.

First off, Welcome!

Okay, i believe its 36" w/ adult, and 42" alone. Over 54" must have a child with to ride.

I dont know if the 54+ with child is a rule, if it is it has never been enforced. I usually ride it once a year or so and I always ride solo, and I'm well over 54" :)

i know for a fact its 36 can ride with an adult and 42 can ride alone. to my knowlege there is no 54 inch rule on that ride.

^I checked a park map and this is the correct info and the max height thing does NOT apply. Anyone can ride.

Thanks again, guys. The official SFGAM website is a little frustrating in terms of ride heights because it just lists the kid "areas" as one attraction. If you actually pick for it to list "Kid" rides it says there aren't any.
