My Observations from Opening Day

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hopefully nothing major happens with any of the other rides, giving time for the workers to get STT open soon. I am sure its not a top priority.

Amusement parks should be something for all families to enjoy. I mean, it's getting to be like gas prices. I know Cedar Fair isn't 2 billion in debt but have you really ever heard of a Six Flags park lowering their admission prices? The prices are getting out of hand. If the customer service is like everyone says, then great! I'm not trying to put down the Six Flags chain but this park is open to the chicago area (3rd biggest city in the US, lots of families!).....It's getting to the point where certain families with certain budgets can go to the parks and it shouldn't be that way. So think about that before you try to stick up for a $54.00 admission ticket!

I would have to say after reading everyones points that the park is looking good this year. With most of the rides running, and a whole new area nearly completed I can't really complain. It seems that there are problems, but they all are such small problems that only fanatics such as ourselves notice.
Remember, there's nothing but air beneath the chair.

So is SFGAm's afternoon parade any worse than Kentucky Kingdom's parade?

I do agree with Aaron though on the landscaping. Opening Day the flowers at Columbia looked pretty bad and yesterday they were all dead.
