I was looking into applying for a job at Sfgam but I cant drive and my parents can't drive me since I live an hour away. Do you guys know if they offer bus service? Thanks.
Six Flags offers bus service to Chicago as well as Kenosha and Racine. They have buses which arrive in the morning as well as late in the afternoon and the last bus leaves late at night. That's all I know of since I don't take the bus. You may have to call Human Resources for that.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."
What do you need to know? I took it for almost 2 seasons every day

hey you live out by me! you would have to take the electric line (i believe theres a stop by you) downtown, crossover to the el, then take a bus i believe. That is what they told me when i thought about doing it, that really turned me off.

Normal school bus with mean drivers who dont care about anyone
Picks up at Cumberland Train Station. Stops, picks up, leaves, doesn't stop again. (So if you're late, even by 5 seconds, they'll keep going).

Well if you want to save money on gas, its worth it. Otherwise avoid it.

Well I used to work at Six Flags. Its not the best job in the world, I really didn't like it but hey it did pay well. $7.00/hour is pretty good. I would go reapply this year but I got fired for somthing I didn't even do so I'm like screw that. If you do get a job there and you do rides, PRAY you don't get Condor. That ride is harsh on the people that work it. The sliver, metal grating will reflect sunlight up at your face like nothing. There were times during the summer where I felt like passing out cause of it. Whom ever designed that is a moron... Good luck on your job search and if you do work at the park, hopefully our experience is WAY better then mine was.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
I liked Condor. What a coincidence..i got fired for something I didn't do either..must be the six flags excuse to get rid of people they don't like...

If you are really interested in working there you should give them a call. Worst thing that could happen is that they say there are no positions available.

Lol. Probably. Unfortunetly, it might be hurting me in my search for another job. Hopefully I'll find one soon.

It shouldnt hurt you. Surprisingly, Ive had many employers tell me Six Flags isnt even a real job and its more of a starter place. You should be okay, just explain what happened during interviews if they ask. Ive already gotten 3 steady jobs since then. (1 during october, 1 during school, 1 during summer.) Ive never been better employed and Ive had people contact me to work for them but i keep turning them all down because Im already employed.

Pray they don't call you back What did you apply for?

ha just wait..just a tip, don't get to know too many people. By my 2nd week I already knew the whole South side...by last year, I knew most ride ops...great people and everything, but gossip in rides is very very bad and things true and false spread fast...supposedly I work at Demon this summer....which I have no idea where that came from originally..but anyways, have fun and dont get taken advantage of. Be a suck up to management (more than you want to be) and you'll be "in the circle of friends" as i like to call it...but yeah, its an experience you will never ever forget.
Also, aren't you 15? Ride ops have to be 16 by the April 1st deadline..if you do get hired at 15, you will get stuck being grouper and fastlane all the time every day.

I get to be brainwashed with a mouse instead of a bunny now...
And everything I'm saying about the park is true, no matter who tries to deny it.
