I was in line for about 1h 45min on fri but not because it was a long line. I want to say that the Workers take toooooo long getting people on and off the ride(example We where next in line, we watched them tell people they can only have shoes on the side/ pull a girl off after she already pulled her harnest down because she was to short , not little girls fault worker walked past her 2 times before she got on. 10 min later we got on the next car. Anybody else think they should train these guys better?

Every time I have been there they seem to be working pretty well. Maybe it was just a bad day.

Most of the good ride ops arent there anymore. They either became a lead or got sent to another ride.

I have had very good ride ops on Superman - I am usually on the first train of the day b/c i get there so early, but I get in and we go without any problems. The only Coaster I had a problem with a ride op was on Batman. The station was empty and she made me get off. I dont know if stupid people were blocked up on the stairs, (First Row Right - Everything else Left) but she kicked me off and I was in the second to last row. That made me mad.

You can't get mad at a ride operator for following any rules they are told to enforce. If they aren't allowed to give re-rides then it is hard to fault the ride operator. The Batman crew has always been efficient when I visit but I wish there was another loading system set up for the ride. The bottleneck entering the station is a constraint that causes the trains to sometimes go out with empty rows. Once again, Queue Management. I remember the ride's earlier years when they still 'funded' a grouper. You didn't have the line mistakenly held up by a group of people ahead waiting for the first row. It would be interesting to find out how much higher ride counts were when there was a grouper filling the rows.I will attest that the Viper crew has always been good, I'm sure its a gig with less stress - having the luxury of a little more time to fill the 2-across trains. Also to address Soxman, the Viper ops have always been good with re-rides early in the morning.Lastly, when did SFGAm stop handing out the anti-line jumper numbered tickets? I always questioned their effect, but it also would be interesting to know what caused them to stop being used while I was there.

BTR ops are always like that. It was the end of the day, and they announced they would run three more trains. I was in the first train, so we rode, and came back. Obviously, train 2 must have left during that time. So we were train three. THere was no one waiting in my row, yet the ops made me get off. Still, it was a great end to the day, but I can only imagine how much better it would have been if I could have got a reride on Batman. Back to the original topic though, ride ops are hit and miss like that. Usually BTR has all the ops with pickles up their asses, and Viper has some of the most carefree ops around. They almost always give rerides, and they don't jam restraints down into your package. Most of the coasters vary from trip to trip. I've had good ops on V2, and I've had Batman-esque ops other times. Superman is usually pretty good, and so is raging bull. Eagle's crew, though friendly, usually strike me as rather inefficient. Eagle's trains usually spend alot of time in the station, or on the brakes behind the station. I don't ride Iron Wolf enough to make a judgement. The same is true for whizzer. Demon has some of the more friendly ops in the park, and Deja Vu is never open. Now that I'm done ranting, I'll simply say that I've never had a problem with S:UF's ops, which gives the usually lesser ride a one up on X Flight (Where's a grinding teeth smilie when you need it?)

I know exactly what your saying about the SUF ops team. Today (Aug 18 ) I waited 2 hours and 25 minutes because of very very slow ops team. It was like they didnt even care about the 1,000 or so people baking in the Hot August Sun. Now i understand that sometimes there are delays (Such as that little girl being to small for the ride. etc etc.) But 2:25hrs is NOT acceptable in any means. Yes S:UF is a brand new ride and yes its a helluva ride (Better then ShockWave i might add) The ride ops on Superman and Deja Vu are terrible when it comes to moving a line on a high profile ride such as DV and Superman. Needless to say S:UF is a very smooth awesome ride.(Check out the '03 Ride Ticker! Updated Today!(Last 2 Trips: 8/18 and 8/19)

You can't blame the ride-ops for the slow moving line on Deja-Vu. Many factors play against them.1. 1-train operation.2. The restraint checking procedure is time consuming.3. The reliability of the ride sucks.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

the deja vu restraint deal is just one big fiasco....its ridiculous how much time it takes them just to get everyone strapped in and ready to go...they gotta check everyones seatbelt first....then wait about another minute before letting the OTSR's come down and lock. then they gotta buckle all of those up....they should do seat belt and restraint all at once....once they check the seat belt let them pull down the restraint and buckle that too....all at once....it would reduce the amount of time in half... 8)

it would not reduce the loading time that much because by checking the seat belt and the harness at the same time it still takes a time to check the seat belt then push the harness down and go to the next person

It would shorten the loading times alot. It would load similar to Batman. It would cut out the time that is taken check the orange seat belt and open the harnesses of people that dont listen to the announcement then do theirs for them.
