No kidding! I think that was the first ride that I remember being aware of the grand openning and being scared to ride. It's still, to this day, the scariest ride in the park in my opinion! Happy almost 10th Birthday Giant Drop!

Celebrate for the Donkeys!!! They've been living for 10 years inside that giant tower!

This just in: Due to the demand of hard-core thrill seekers, there is a new freefall ride coming in the near future which will rocket riders 290 feet up in the air before dropping them a whopping 100 MPH. The name is High Noon Bullet. It will replace Giant Drop in 2008. The ride will stun even the hardest of roller coaster daredevils, so board if you dare!
NOT! I'm kidding you. It's a joke I made up a long time ago.
I'm hoping that baby will be fully operational. Last time they rode it they only loaded 12 per ride cycle, so I waited an hour when the normal waiting time would be 20 minutes. That's preposterous!!
I don't know if they'd at least keep the 'lifts' on the ride vehicles at all times, and re-modify the ride system so it works like a free-fall, similar to Tower of Terror. What would you think?
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."

Our Giant Drop is in the Guiness Book of World Records for most weddings on a theme park attraction. I believe the record was 247 weddings, but i'm not sure on the course of time this took place. Nevertheless, I too wonder how many are still going strong.

The station with constant overflowing garbage cans and the most infested handrails. Yeah I'd pick that too . But really, Id pick Viper.

I think I'd propose on Dare Davil Dive. That way, before they say anything, I'd be like "Well, before we free fall, will you marry me?" If she says yes, I pull the rip cord. If no, well, I'll pull it still just because I want to free fall.
As for a wedding, I'd probably do it on top of Raging Bull (Like on the catwalk).
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

You'll never beat me.
I know, your record is outstanding dude. Major props lol. I rode this thing for the first time in 3 years on opening day. It really is one of the best rides there in my opinion.
"Oh My Gosh, She is such a whore!" - heard behind me exiting Raging Bull.
