Wasnt these rides at great america.what happen to them? I was to short at the time to go on either one. Were these rides any good Please decribe good points and bad ? Is there proof online that the edge even existed?
The Edge had an incident resulting in a few injuries. It was removed, sold to a park in Rhode Island I think, then bought by Geauga Lake. Six Flags proceded to buy that park and it's chain, resulting in Six Flags once again owning The Edge.Z-Force was a part of the ride rotation program. It was sent to Georgia, then California where it resides as Flashback.
Z-force( currently Flashback) is a really fun ride! my brother and i went on it a few times when we went to SFMM....i think the only bad part about it was the headbanging....but my head eventually went numb and i didnt care...lol

I didnt bang my head on it at all. I love the ride. I wish we still had it here. I really want to get back there. Next time we go you better go on everything and not chicken out.
Timmy, I don't know where you heard that Flashback has poor upkeep(besides the paint). It is one of the most reliable rides at MM. The only reason that it is never open is because it can not be open when HH is in operation. Which is roughly half the year. If it weren't located in the small corner in the middle of now where it could operate everyday.
This is a picture I took of the Edge. It's not at Great America in the picture obviously (I'm not sure if I was even born when it was there) but it still is the same ride, maybe a different color scheme.
I dont remember where power dive was.I only remember that in 2001 on my first visit, I saw a space shuttle ship that was never open. I can only think that it was located right by Hometown Fun Machine. Is that Power Dive and am I right about its location?
No. The Power Dive was located in Orlean's Place. It was right across from the Cirque Electrique Games. When you enter Orleans from the Columbia Carousel, as soon as you go under the railroad tracks, it was on the right. You are correct about the shuttle ship that you saw, that was Power Dive.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
The Tidal Wave is currently located in kentucky at Six flags Kentucky Kingdom as Greased Lightnin'. I rode it there and it was great. There was no line for it. You should go and try it out.
Greezed Lightnin' is still a blast to ride, but its not as forceful as it was when it was Tidal Wave. The train barely makes it 2/3 the way up the front spike. The cool thing though is that going backwards into the loop creates some insane hangtime.I gave Duane from rcdb.com some pics which he put up on his site. You can check them out here.

A trip to SFKK by itself? No.A trip to SFKK with the intent of hitting PKI and HW also? Yes.All 3 of these parks are relatively close to eachother. Its a great coaster trip that my daughter and I took a few weeks ago.

Guys... I have your POS edge. The blue and orange are starting to show through a horrible Geuaga Lake paintjob. It's really rough, short and worthless - want it back?
Its not rough except for entering and exiting the elevator. Nothing uncomfortable unless you have sensitive ears (in terms of hearing.) It's short, but still fun. And better than CP's, they run about 6 too many cars on it, so you spend most of your time waiting to go up the elevator or get off the ride there.
