I know it was his fault.... My friend lost $42 on S:UF last Sunday. He reported it to lost and found. They sent him an envelope containing $2 back.

Always keep valuables in a secure pocket, at least a button, preferably a zipper. I've never lost a single penny doing that. I have, however, sent my whole wallet through the wash once or twice because I was dead tired when I got home and put the clothes in the dirty laundry. :lol:I really don't blame the park for not returning the full 42. For all they know, they were told a lie (I'm not saying your friend lied by any means, but with all of the scum bags out there, I wouldn't be surprised if guest relations was told of large sums of money that didn't ever exist that were lost every day.) And for all we know, maybe they didn't even find 42 that day. Sucks that he lost that much, though. I'm always uncomfortable carrying more than $25 around for fear that I'll lose it.

If you have any desire to get on S:UF, make sure you wear cargo pants or cargo shorts. They are your friend and you will thank them after a ride on S:UF. 8)
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

All I remember from my last ride is that the diving turnaround right after the Pretzel, TONS of change flew from the riders. Very sirprised. But no $42.

That's why they make the point about making sure you secure all articles because you will loose anything and everything. I'm sure he wasn't the first or even the last person to loose that much money, and I'm sure Six Flags can't do much either. They also say: "Six Flags is not responsible for lost or stolen articles during operation".

I haven't lost anything on SUF or even on any coaster. I did almost lose my sunglasses on American Eagle this year though cause they started to fall off... I'm surprised more people lose things on SUF than on other coasters.

Well I've never lost anything on a roller coaster... And you know why?? Because I don't take anything on that I could lose!!!! I mean why even risk it; just don't take anything on in the first place, and if you absolutely have to, make sure it's tightly secured!!
:x I'm Constipated

If you think about it, you are laying down, therefore when you drop the openings of your pockets sre facing down, and well gravity does the rest, i am not suprised at all that people lose alot of stuff on s:uf

Speaking of Securing Lose Articles. Superman:UF has no bins to put purses, souvenir cups, prizes, etc. in. They make you carry it on the on ride with you. That is so stupid. I know you all know this, but I'm just posting this because I think it's stupid. If you don't ride with it you must leave it with a non-rider. What happens if you don't have a non-rider, and the object is too large to fit in the harness with you? I guess you waited two hours just to walk down the exit line. That is totally stupid. The only things they let you put down there is lose fitting shoes, and sandles. STUPID, STUPID, and for the record, STUPID!!!!!!!!!! :D

Yea, they definately need boxes. Deja Vu has boxes and its loading times are really long. I don't see why Superman doesn't have them.

Superman has lockers outside of the entrance. You are supposed to put loose articles in them before getting in line. I don't like that approach, but it was used a lot at Cedar Point, so be glad Great America has boxes in most stations.

If someone did not Read the 4 signs that they have in the front of the Entrance of Superman to tell them that there is no place to store your stuff at the station then it is there own fault. Also, The employee and the Front entrance keeps on telling everyone that they cannot bring any items they cannot secure to them self’s on the ride. And if he sees large items with you he will not let you in line.

So you think that its fair for them to deny people a ride just because they won a stuffed animal or they have purse? It doesn't affect me because all I carry is the money in my pocket but its not right to turn people away.

Why is it not "right" for them to? They are just keeping the station safe. They don't want large objects cluttering the station, which would result in slower dispatch times.
